    If you would have asked me how many hits the Dodgers had through 7 innings in game 6, 1 hit would have been like my 10th guess. Christ, Kyle Hendricks is such a horsefeathering boss.

    For the record, I predicted exactly 103 wins last season. (Not on NSBB, though) So, as a fully licensed prediction expert with a perfect record, I'm going with 101-61. 101 Might seem low, but our win total will be suppressed a bit because we'll have a firm lead on best record in the NL race, allowing us to spend most of September doing fun stuff like using a 7 man rotation and giving Almora, Happ, and other prospects playing time. Javy gets at least 1 start at Catcher and becomes the first player since....I don't know....to have a start at every defensive position except pitcher in a season. Injuries will catch up to the pitching staff, forcing us to majorly overpay to acquire sonny gray and sean doolittle. The MVP race will basically be Bryant, Rizzo or Schwarber, with Rizzo winning. Schwarber does get comback player of the year, though. Kyle Hendricks either wins the Cy Young, or should have won the Cy Young. He throws a perfect game, probably against the Brewers, and then adds in a no hitter during the playoffs just because. Cubs defeat the Dodgers and Nationals en route to the World Series. ALCS is CLE vs BOS and the healthier team wins. I'll go with Cleveland. Cubs beat Cleveland in 6 games.

    Well, OK, for 1 year at 6 million I'm cool letting the Rangers take the gamble. We'll just sign him next year if their gamble works out.

    The Paris hotel has always been my favorite. Good restaurants, good casino, good hotel and awesome location. Plus they have these 3-4 foot tall eiffel tower shaped margaritas that are delicious and take all night and part of the next morning to drink.

    They can keep the pick and utilize it, or they can give it away to sign somebody. I dont care either way. But "we'd lose a draft pick" should not be listed among the negatives of signing anybody, because who cares? Personally, I think Bautista would negatively impact the defense more than he would positively impact the offense. That speaks more to how highly i think of our offense than anything bad about bautista. Id pass. Just not cuz of no draft pick. Agreed. To be clear, I'm not saying don't give up a draft pick to sign a player. I'm saying don't give one up to sign this specific player. That said, I'll never agree that giving up high draft picks should always be in the "who cares" category. Not when we have the guys making the decisions that we do. Id only hesitate to give up a top 10 pick, but those are protected anyway. 11-15 i might not be excited and there may be certain players I wouldnt do it for. Anything beyond that, Id only pretend to care if I was in the FO and using it as leverage to pay less. That would change if we were in a position like we were in 2010-2014, but we arent.

    Right? Especially since they currently have 4 in the first 105 or so. So let them utilize all four and try to rebuild the system a little bit rather than just use one for a position that isn't even a need while also spending $18 million to do it. They can keep the pick and utilize it, or they can give it away to sign somebody. I dont care either way. Hold your horsefeathering head high. I don't want to face you guys again next year, healthy. Well, i mean, 2nd and third best pitcher, actually. And without Brantley, and their regular catcher. I'll take any team but Cleveland if we make it this far next year. Haha, I said "if"

    I just want to say, before 'Chapman choked but we pulled it out anyway' becomes the storyline we remember: He went out in the 9th completely gassed and threw up a 0 for us against the top of their order, and i dont know if anybody else in that bullpen would have accomplished that. Thank you, Chapman. Now go sign somewhee else.
