lol, Besler scores and the team swarms him with the ball and rock it to sleep like a baby also, Wood had a great goal from ~20 yards out [tweet]

College Football prognosticators looooove teams with history that lost a bunch of close games the year before. It seems all too often they end up continuing to lose close games because their coaches are not actually good, but what do I know.
Wahl says it's a 4-4-2, so we've reached the point where Bedoya is an attacking central mid in a world cup qualifier. At least we're well equipped to play a defensive game against St. Vincent and the Ghostbusters. EDIT: Wow, Besler's wife had a baby today and he's in the starting lineup

[/tweet] There are like 5 different formations you could use with this 11 that would make the same amount of sense. Zusi, Beckerman, and Bedoya all starting is just the worst when you have Nagbe, Pulisic, Klejstan, even Morris right there.
Tennessee hasn't won 10 games since the Bush administration, and their fanbase at large hasn't realized that they aren't special anymore. A lot like Nebraska, to be honest.
Yeah I'd say that says more about Miller than Clark, given how rigid they've been about putting college SP in Boise/Eugene and only letting them throw a couple innings at a time.
Two perfect innings with 2 K's for Mekkes, at Eugene he's up to 17.1 IP, 11 H, 4 ER, 21/4 K/BB, 1 HR. All 4 walks and 3 of the 4 ER came in his first 3 outings too.

[/tweet] For those keeping score at home, that's two 'oh it's September 1st sure we're healthy now' activations, and one cannon fodder arm to eat innings if a starter gets blown up in the 2nd or 3rd.
There's too much of a good thing, and then there's way too much of an okay joke. Random pictures and gifs of seals(a dozen in less than 2 pages of this thread, for example) every time La Stella's name comes up isn't humor.
