A sac fly from the second baseman....hmmm...wouldn't that have been helpful last night. I really like Walker.. but we kept the wrong second basemen.. He's having a career year with hitting for the cycle and having good power.. Walker's production dwarfs Grudz this year.

You would prefer he gas the bullpen too? We have 6 guys in that bullpen. Why have 6 people in the bullpen if you're not going to use them? Might as well have the extra hitter on the team. What did he say this time? They mic'd Dempster, and Demp was doing PBP for the eckstein AB in this high pitched voice. So after a couple pitches of "Dempster does my job a lot better than I do his", Buck calls the last pitch with that ridiculous voice.

Tim Hudson at age 23 dominated A ball and performed decently at AA. Dan Meyer at age 23 dominated AA ball and performed decently at AAA. Juan Cruz is also dominating AAA as a starter. Hudson would help them right now no doubt, but they didn't wind up empty handed.

I second that motion... I've looked but I can't find anything on CPatt anywhere. According to Buck and McCarver, in the article Patterson said that none of the coaches tried to work with him to shorten his swing, and Baker, Clines, and Matthews said that wasn't true.
