    Pagan is hitting .360 this spring, and according to Dusty is a switch hitter...I'm sure Restovich could be a solid player but my vote would be for Pagan at this point. Spring training performance means very little, Pagan has over 2000 minor league PA's that he hasn't been able to do anything with, especially hit for power. Restovich on the other hand, has much better past performance to go with his strong spring, and there's no one(like Hairston in Pagan's case) that makes his presence on the roster redundant.

    I'd rather have Restovich, who's also had a nice spring and adds some unique abilities to the bench, namely right handed power.

    Who will be playing for SF after Bonds & Alou get hurt? Even when they're active, does defense count here? :D I know you're playing, but I was only talking offense. I don't think there's a single one in the NL you could say we're clearly better than. Other than Florida... Washington? Colorado? I think Soriano-Church-Guillen are all better than any of our outfielders. Colorado is another one we may be able to top.

    third base Wow, I guess they are going to do that instead of playing Helms there. Abercrombie looks to be in CF and Aguila in LF. Well I guess there's one that'll be worse than us in all likelihood.

    Can someone think of an outfield that will give worse production than ours? I'm having trouble thinking of one.

    Tyrus Thomas a top 5 pick? I know the guy has tremendous leaping ability(check is in the mail Seth), but does the guy have any semblence of an offensive game outside of dunks?

    Proof positive that Latin players are more emotional. Would Tomo Ohka ever do such a thing? Nope, he'd get back at Cristian Guzman by asking him to solve a tough differentiation problem.

    Remember, Neifi doesn't play nearly as many positions as Gremlin. Well, he had 18 starts on the infield last year, 8 in the outfield(the games started breakdown would have been nice to find before I went through the game log), and Neifi plays more positions in the infield.

    That Perez guy is 3-3 ?? :shock: He should start, eh? Around 140 times Fred. I boldly predict that, barring trades & injuries, Neifi doesn't strart more than 25 games. That does seem pretty bold. I mean, from a quick scan of game logs, Macias had 24 starts last year.
