    errors by Cedeno and LEE = 2 runs for the Cards. Let's cut the Bums. Both of em. (Convenient to only single out Ronny). I'm sorry. Has Lee proven that he's an elite defense 1B over the years? Ronny hasn't. Lee's errors are a fluke. Cedeno's are not. If you're going to do that, can we acknowledge that Cedeno's error is a result of a bad call(albeit one forced by a poor throw)?

    Walker's arm isn't that weak. That particular play is possibly the worst possible throw an infielder has to make.

    .274/.298/.383/.681 is quite terrible, and that was a career year for him when you adjust for parks.

    I wasn't impressed. I'm not trying to take anything away from him because he earned his performance today, but going forward that same outing is going to be a disaster start without the wind howling in. It's not a stretch at all to see 2 or 3 balls leaving the yard that didn't, at least one to my memory with people on base.

    Maybe it's me, but it seems like your offense isn't as strong as it could/should be for a 10 team league. I'm terrible at judging that stuff though.

    Welcome! While not flawlessly accurate, BRAA(Batting Runs Above Average) and FRAA(Fielding Runs Above Average) do a decent enough job for what you're looking for. In Neifi's career.... Adjusted for Season BRAA: -221 FRAA: 103 Net: -118 Adjusted for All-Time BRAA: -219 FRAA: 94 Net: -125

    He is only among the worst hitters in all of major league baseball since 1900. THAT IS BAD. Today he got a bloop single on a ball that was a six inches of the ground and a lucky hop that golden boy Pujols should have stabbed. Neifi sucks, he should never start. Ever. I'd like to see you manage a team and find a way to never start him. Every position player on the 25 man will start at least a handful of games during a 162 game season. Now you're on to something, guys who don't deserve to ever start probably don't deserve to be on the team.
