  1. Vance, you better start packing up those prizes because Lou is getting ejected tomorrow after Hill gets squeezed 8-)
  2. I think that it is long....very long. J/k Vance, I agree with everything you had to say in there. I am really looking forward to Hill striking out 14 Brewers tomorrow, while Barrett and Murton get back on track (I'm not expecting much from Jacque though).
  3. Only $650 million? I thought I had seen $750 million-$1 billion being mentioned somewhere.
  4. I see enough of it everywhere else that I've never watched it (and never will). I wish Simon would go back to England and take that horrible show with him.
  5. OK so is it ROSIN or is it resin? lol resin is what's left after you smoke, i believe. I think resin is nothing more than pine sap: resin [ˈrezin] noun a sticky substance produced by certain trees (eg firs, pines) and some other plants
  6. Heredia had a pretty rough game tonight too; 0-5 with 4Ks. 4 of Wisconsin's 7 errors were made by pitchers (one by each of the first 4 pitchers), 2 by different SS's, and 1 by their 3B. I don't know if it should be considered a good thing or a bad thing that the errors were committed by 7 different players.
  7. Yanks-Devil Rays are tied 6-6 right now. Dukes has hit a homer for the 2nd straight game.
  8. Great night for probably my favorite prospect, Brian Dopirak. 2/3 with a BB, keep it up Brian!
  9. I don't think so. I have him higher than 3 others that went in the 1st (Beason, Spencer, Blalock) It really depends on the system I guess. If the Bear continue to run a cover 2, Alexander would be ok but I think he is rather limited. Beason didn't produce quite like Rufus did, but he's got more versatility, he is bigger, and he is quicker. For a team like the Bears, Spencer would be a DE which significantly lowers his value but for a 3-4 team he is probably one of the best rush OLBs.
  10. YUSEF!!
  11. If Lou gets thrown out, I win the ejection pool so get pissed Lou!
  12. They did unfortunately, Sox win 4-3.
  13. Wow that is interesting, in the later pictures you can definitely tell that there is a white substance under the brim of his hat.
  14. 6 IP, 6 hits, 1 earned run (DeJesus HR), 8 Ks, 1 BB. Not a bad ML debut for Matsuzaka.
  15. Dice-K just allowed his first run, a solo homer by DeJesus.
  16. Sorry, he's getting thrown out tomorrow and I'll win.
  17. Another [expletive] popup, you have to be kidding me.
  18. I thought that this was just a good 'ol boys game?
  19. Eyre let them open the lead up, but Howry blew it.
  20. Damn you Eyre, Hatteberg, and the Cubs in general.
  21. He got lifted for Theriot, because Cubs used Theriot to steal 2nd base for the go-ahead run. It was a good move in my opinion. This is the same guy that ran into an out at 3rd, right? Maybe it was a good move, but Murton's a pretty good hitter and not exactly Cecil Fielder when it comes to speed. Did we really need to burn through another hitter on our already rather short bench for that? I vote no. Murton would have clogged up the basepaths. these dusty quotes will never die They will as soon as we win the world series...so you may be right.
  22. I think it was for the heck of it, I never heard an injury mentioned. Thanks. I never thought of Murton as being particularly slow. And I hate lifting a good hitter in favor for a PH or PR in a close game. Especially given his OF defense last night.
  23. I think it was for the heck of it, I never heard an injury mentioned.
