    I think he was just rushed way too fast last year. He pitched 13 games in high-A, 6 games in AA, 1 in AAA, and 10 in the majors. He's only 23 so AA seems pretty age-appropriate this year for him.

    I wish we had that weather out here, it has been 49 and misting all day.

    Wow that is a huge reach. After having a 2nd leg surgery on March 20th to have his old rod removed and a new rod placed in his leg, he will be out quite a bit longer now. He will not be able to workout or do anything until probably May or June. I've seen him falling into the 2nd day.

    I would love to have either Mark Shapiro or J.P. Ricciardi, but both have pretty long contracts.

    Not surprising. Carr had already said he was looking to make his decision quickly so that he could start into the offseason program with his new team and get caught up quickly.

    The Braves could have Andruw Jones, Renteria, or Rafael Soriano. The Astros I really don't know about.

    Not so much a bad call. He was great in spring and showed improvement. I'm sure Lou will pound into him not to be so aggresive with 2 balls. If he is to get better, he needs to be in those game situations and learn from them. it was a bad call. his decision to replace murton with theriot was a bad call, too. Any body can second guess something when it doesn't work. I would've preferred to see Lou stick with Murton the whole way. Theriot's speed can be useful late in games, but his OF defense isn't too pretty and both DeRosa and Izturis have been hot at the plate.

    I would pay just to watch him jump out of a suite, slide down the netting behind home plate, and start chewing out an ump for a bad call....and I can totally see him doing it too.

    Who gets the promotion first, Gallagher or THE DON!? Sean. I just hope they don't rush him too much. I'd like to see him stay in AA until around mid-season, and finish the year at AAA. A September callup is possible I guess, but I'd rather see him rest up a little bit and then play some winter ball instead.

    It's a good thing there are no pools for this sort of thing because I would definitely pick the Bulls to make the Finals and probably get burned Just like you did in the Facebook Pool? :wink:

    Interesting strategy, let's see if it works for them. and yes, I got the Major League reference I wonder if they've got a life-size cutout of her naked in the clubhouse, covered with post-it notes?
