    The slot is fine, but he isn't really finishing his pitches. Agreed. He doesn't look right. Cubs.com says tonight is his first start with his "new, improved delivery". JJ and Izturis with basehits? WTH is going on tonight.

    Middle IFers are funny though, and I'll take as many as I can get. Especially if it is getting us out from under JJ's contract. After his '05 season, everyone thought that Ronny was our future at SS and look how that has turned out.

    I don't see Hester lining up at RB ever, so no. Wolfe is a third down back - he might come out to slot or something for a few plays but I can't see him taking away time from Hester. A formation with twins on the weakside (Hester and Wolfe) with Moose on the strongside could cause some real mismatches.

    He'll be 28 in August, and this is his 3rd straight season at the AA level. He's never been above this level either, so I doubt he'd be much help.

    This is the last one since it's from last years draft. Starting with this June's draft, the signing deadline will be in August, ending DFEs. So teams have a little less than 2 months to sign all of their players? That really sucks.
