The Cubs saw him as a reliever already this year and he gave up 2 runs, with 2 walks and a HBP in 2 1/3 innings. For some reason, left-handers are only 1-20 vs. Straily this year. Of course, the only hit was a 2-run single to Jason Heyward, and he hit Fowler, walked Montero, and gave up deep fly balls to Zobrist and Rizzo. So, the phrase smoke and mirrors come to mind here. Cubs have outscored them 24-1 thru 2 games, no reason they shouldn't get over 30 runs for the series today.
