Alright - I will throw this out there and then quit. Who wants to take a bet that the Bears end up top 5 in both ypg and ypc? That should be a gimme for an elite rushing team, right? I'll bet $20 per taker.

Is elite top 10%? Is it top 20%? I'm obviously being pedantic here, but you gents are throwing that word around like anyone in the top third is elite. And ypg matters just as much as ypc. Um, ok. I thought they could be #1. Is that elite enough? okay - you're still insisting that they ARE elite. Are you backing off of that?

don't be an idiot it would be a lot more impactful if they had any semblance of a passing game But you can't say "it would be better if..." and have it actually be elite. You could say that it might be elite if they had a passing game, but that doesn't make it elite right now. Right now it is a good, maybe very good running game. It could possibly be elite if they had a better passing threat and if they had the other 40-60% of the linemen they would like to use. But I really don't get the argument that I'm only using the one game to judge them. I was using both games actually played this year. You guys were throwing out half the games played and only using a single game. And even that one wasn't "elite".

So, the bears were #6 in ypc last season, and added Cohen, so yeah, the projection was reasonable. Is elite top 10%? Is it top 20%? Elite, huh? They also came in 26th in rushing yards per game. You need both the average per carry and the volume to really be elite. You can say that they aren't able to run much because they keep falling behind, but I only buy that to a certain extent. It doesn't excuse 26th.

I was told they've been elite so far. Well they were averaging 4.6 YPC before that 35osh yard Cohen run. Considering their Noodle arm stiff of a QB is 3-6 for 18 yards I think that's pretty elite That would be 6th in the nfl on the year, or around the 20th percentile. I will say that Howard looks a lot better so far today. And that was awesome by Cohen.

Don't know if you can say they've done so well when they have 56 yards of offense midway through the 2nd quarter I was told they've been elite so far.

They rank 19th in the NFL in yards per game. yeah, but that's after one bad game. they averaged 6.6 yards per rush the week before. smallest of sample sizes. ONE BAD GAME. I hate intellectual dishonesty. I'm using double the sample size you are and you complain about my intellectual honesty?
