  1. Any issues with getting Podkolzin to the USA immediately? Or will he play over there for a while first?
  2. lol - now do Milwaukee and their 8-3 record with a -1 RD 8% So, given the respective run differentials, there is only around a 0.96% chance of the Cubs being this far behind. (not really, due to the h2h games, but still)
  3. I don’t think it means we’re unlucky, I just think it’s a hilarious curiosity If it was like a 10 RD, it would be a curiosity. As it stands it's 3 out of 10 on a coin flip type odds. Google tells me that probability is about 12%. lol - now do Milwaukee and their 8-3 record with a -1 RD
  4. Wait...he left Taillon in there to finish the inning and pulled him for a pinch hitter?
  5. I have him(and Taillon) on my fantasy team so I'm okay with that walk eat at arbys This makes me sad.
  6. Hoping that TT makes an appearance to share his 2019 thoughts on Cervelli.
  7. You're not superstitious are you? (It's a no hitter!)
  8. Three more, including this one. After 2021. Right - he'll be leaving town with our core players.
  9. Happ better watch out or "Next Bote" will pass him on the depth chart.
  10. Chatwood's not a bad choice. he gets a ton of ground balls.
  11. I get what you're saying, but the timing was odd
  12. I mean, strike 3 to Javy was 97 on the edge.
  13. I'm on mute and wasn't paying attention until the very end of the replay. Was there any good reason for the benches to clear there?
  14. As much as I disrespect Almora...that was a hell of a throw
  15. That's a pretty old team
  16. Schwarber in a straight platoon is really going to annoy the hell out of me.
  17. I repeatedly and vocally hoped that they would sign Harper and then trade Almora & Happ for the best relievers they could net.
  18. However, they were 3rd in ERA in 2018, 7th in 2017, 1st in 2016 and 3rd in 2015. Under Hendry, the Cubs regularly led baseball in strikeouts. This administration obviously does not believe them to be paramount. While it is pretty tempting to say that they don't know pitching, they are obviously effective at putting teams together that are very good at run prevention. ---- eta to be fair, after looking up the k's, they were 2nd in 2015 and 3rd in 2016.
  19. Bartolo is still trying to land a role. There's still hope.
