  1. Enough. The minor league forums are a bridge too far. Keep the acrimony away from here.
  2. Tyson Miller was outstanding again.
  3. All the nerds were rewatching last weeks GOT episode because apparently you couldn't see a thing to catch up for tonights episode Speaking of that, how much do the GOT people hate the Cubs having B2B Sunday night games during some of the last episodes of GOT? Well, that's why I've got a TV and a computer. Given the ESPN crew, it's more fun to watch with the sound off, anyway

  5. it may be that I'm on the second bottle of wine, but sweep these [expletive]. Sweep the horsefeathering Marlins sweep every other horsefeathering team the rest of the year.

  7. I mean, that's one of the worst defensive players in baseball right there.

  9. Saw something that made me think of Tebow this morning, so I took a second to look up how he's doing in AAA so fr this year: 77 PA .143/.211/.186 35.1% strikeout rate So...not very good.
  10. I'm in tears about this. Of joy, of course.
  11. Well, he did hit that 73 hopper that made it through as a single because the defenders almost ran into each other. Clutch.
  12. Fine - How about Schwarber's actual 2018 production of .238/.356/.467? Considering most of Burnitz's best seasons came during the juiced ball era, that Schwarber line from last year is more than comparable. He's also rating as an above average defender again, no matter how many times you try to claim that he's best served as a DH. Oh, but I'm sorry. Go ahead and keep banging your head against this one. In case you haven't noticed we're in the juiciest of the juice ball eras right now. I'd take the time to refute this, but squally did the job quite well. Again, your quote is that you'd like to have someone like Burnitz in LF when we've got someone basically just like Burnitz (with better defense) in LF already. If you can't just own up and admit that you blew this one, then there is really no purpose in talking to you about anything.
  13. Seattle is definitely one of the places I'd love to live in for a few years.
  14. lol - Schwarber's projection for 2019: .241/.351/.477 Why do you hate on Schwarber again? There is a difference between actual production and projections. I don't hate Schwarber, I just think that the Cubs would be a better team if they had traded him a couple of years ago when his trade value was high and we probably could have received some young pitching. I admire his work ethic and his majestic HRs, but he is still a DH/platoon OF. Fine - How about Schwarber's actual 2018 production of .238/.356/.467? 15. Sorry I'm late... :flythew: :flythew: :flythew:
