I think it's fair to question where the Cubs will be after the 2021 season with so many guys ending their contracts or team control then (including Theo I believe), but I am confident that the Cubs will make the necessary preparations. -
Think the Yankees would trade us Gleyber for him? :( And I love Javy but he's been seriously butt at the plate for a good month now. Needs a little refocusing.

Agreed. I was also pulling for the Caps due to the misery DC fans have had to endure but obviously there are good and bad fans of any city/fanbase. Also the Putin stuff is disappointing but utterly unsurprising to hear. From my very limited viewing Ovi seems like a loveable meathead.

I pretty much always love drinky Joe's lineups. This one is no different. Hope J-Hey gets a big hand before his first AB today.

That was awesome, as soon as he hit it I started yelling like a crazy person but also having the "oh he crushed that but we'll see....." thought process. Nice to get that one, I was highly agitated beforehand.

Lets hope Living in Maryland, I kind of enjoy their suffering. On the other hand, The Caps winning the Cup will really annoy Pens fans so either way I'm good. I'm a Blackhawks fan so no dog in this race but have definitely been rooting for the Caps. I don't root for all tortured fanbases (haha Blues) but Ovi seems cool and DC fans have 4 pro teams and haven't won anything in forever. Hoping they finish the job. Also probably better for Vegas long term as a franchise if they don't win it. No shame in conference championship, especially in your first year.

I don't necessarily disagree with you, but MJ was the most competitive and intimidating athlete I've ever seen. Everyone in the building was terrified of him and once he got over the hump nobody was beating him. He was a 35 year old shooting guard and won the 1998 playoffs/finals basically by himself. Pippen was hurt and Rodman was in la la land.
