The Cubs have an extremely good infield - at least I tell myself that and then I look at the Cardinals and I don't see great, but I see consistency. At 2nd base, Kolton Wong is one hell of a good little player - seems to do all the little things right (except getting picked off in playoff games), Peralta - I don't know how many shortstops are better than this guy - he's so damn just "above-average" on both sides of the ball. He annoys me because of how solid he is. Matt Carpenter is just a stud. He's always on base, he's got decent pop and gives you a great AB. Molina - everyone knows about him. They are just consistent. Rizzo is consistent on the Cubs infield, Russell is young and consistently hitting .250, Castro is as streaky as they come and Bryant has been strong on hitting side, but very inconsistent in the field..
