If he is willing to sign for 3/60, the Cubs and other teams would be all over that and give him even more. That doesn't seem possible. If nobody steps in with 6/135, he'll go somewhere for less years and a lower AAV. I don't understand what's so crazy about that. I'd agree that 3/60 doesn't seem possible, as several teams would likely eclipse that offer. I don't think that PleasewinCubs is stating that the terms won't come down, just that 3/60 is easily below the floor. -

I got the same call, "reminding" me about my appointment. Not only was this the first I heard of it, but when I got my email from the cubs about my spot on the list, it said I wouldn't get through this year. I'm going to return the call today.

0-1-1 that is. I hate shootouts. I feel like we win like 25% of them despite it basically being a crapshoot 6-5 last year, 9-6 in 2009-2010, and 4-7 in 2008-2009. Totals 19-19 after tonight.

This...except "two years". I haven't been this excited since the beginning of 09... so probably 3 years. Even in August when we were in first place, I was less excited than I am about this. Wasn't that for like a day and then the Cards ran off? http://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/CHC/2009-schedule-scores.shtml Almost a two week stretch, bouncing a half game in and out of first.
