  1. DeJesus has really been outstanding this year. Even the BABIP is right around his career average. ETA: Before today, he was playing at a 5.4 win pace. ETA2: His wOBA, after that double, is at .381
  2. http://www.blogabull.com/2013/5/22/4354878/nikola-mirotic-wins-acb-league-mvp How good are we thinking Nikola could be? Ceiling and likely outcome? Also, worth more to us to hold on to him or as an elite trade chip? If this kid could really become a Dirk, I wouldn't trade him.
  3. Can we remember how to score?
  4. This is 100% what should happen. By far the best option.
  5. I can't stand that worthless piece of [expletive]. [expletive] off Carcillo.

  7. So playing someone a fair amount of minutes helps a person get over plantar fasciitis? You don't even understand what plantar fasciitis is.
  8. Injury probe? LOL Anyway, you are a mess dude. You are the bad opinion machine. You should try logically responding to people's points instead of just throwing more [expletive] at the wall any time someone proves you wrong.
  9. I think there is a lot of room between vulnerable and "very beatable." The Heat are much deeper and more in sync now than their 2011 team was, even if they had a healthier Wade. Memphis would have a chance, but I still think there is no way LeBron would lose 4 out of 7 to anyone right now. It just won't happen. (I am a Bulls fan, btw, not a Heat homer. I can't stand them or LeBron.)
  10. Whatever helps your meatball brain sleep at night I suppose. You are the one being a meat ball. The 2011 Bulls were a far superior team to the 2013 Pacers, and a Heat team that isn't even as good as they are now, beat them in 5. The Pacers don't have a chance against Miami.
  11. Doesn't Bryant play at a major step down, competition wise, than basically all of those guys? Not sure, but Raisin did mention this: Not sure how the numbers trend in college baseball has gone with the BBCOR bats, but the suppression has really become lessened in the past few years now that bat companies have found a way to make the bats almost as good as before within the guidelines of the BBCOR regulations. The first few years of BBCOR, when the bat makers hadn't had time to mess around with the new regulations, was when the bats were really worse than they used to be. There is still a difference between old bats and BBCOR, but it's not a huge one.
  12. LOL you are so fail. 2013 wOBA: Rizzo - .393 Votto - .395 Hasn't been in the bigs for a year yet. We don 't know exactly what kind of player he'll settle into. That's why he was available in the first place. Guess you don't put any stock into his MLE's? Chances are he's going to be an outstanding player, considering his age, makeup, and performance to date. You clearly don't understand player progression very well so you should stop commenting on it.
  13. Over Kane, fine. But not Toews. Not even Kane. It's a joke that he's above either. Kane was better in his own zone and on the back check but he's still very inconsistent in that way. Yeah he had a lot of points but so did Tavares. Rk Player Team POS Off GVT Def GVT Shootout GVT Total GVT 1 Jonathan Toews Chicago Blackhawks F 12.8 7.6 1.0 21.3 2 Sidney Crosby Pittsburgh Penguins F 14.0 5.7 1.2 20.9 3 Alex Ovechkin Washington Capitals F 15.1 3.8 1.8 20.7 4 Patrick Kane Chicago Blackhawks F 14.5 4.3 1.9 20.7 9 John Tavares New York Islanders F 12.2 4.6 0.8 17.6 Kane was clearly better than Tavares
  14. For what its worth, I've heard from within the Reds FO that resigning Choo is a long shot for them. They offered him an extension when they traded for him and he wanted a considerable amount more than they were willing to go, and how he has played so far is only making it less likely they will be able to keep him.
  15. LOL you are so fail. 2013 wOBA: Rizzo - .393 Votto - .395 He'll just come back with some dumb "sample size" argument. To be fair that wouldn't be a "dumb" argument, but most of the things he has been saying are dumb. Rizzo will likely be better than Votto very soon (next couple of years), and it honestly wouldn't shock me to see him end up being nearly as good this year (which I pointed out, he already has been offensively).
  16. LOL you are so fail. 2013 wOBA: Rizzo - .393 Votto - .395
  17. Pretty sure they added it in the last year. I remember them having it towards the end of last season, I think. ETA: Although they may not have added it until the winter. I know at the very least they have had it since before this season started. ETA2: It's just Baseball-Reference WAR, btw.
  18. I think this is the most likely scenario. I like Hughes as a Garza alternative if he leaves. Hughes really isn't close to as good as Garza.
  19. LOL wtf is going on in this?
  20. Even before today, the Cubs had a winning record in 2nd and 3rd order win %.
