I saw tiredness in OT -- or at least what I perceived to be tiredness. I guess it makes sense. Just OT after OT these past few games, it's got to wear on them eventually. I don't see why the Hawks can't play more like they did in the 1st period moving forward. They completely dominated the Bruins, and really the game shouldn't have even gone to OT. It was a classic ref mistake, not having enough visual angles to see where the puck is around the net. It happens. I'd like to pose a serious question: why do people around here think there's suddenly no chance? I went back and watched game 1 (I was traveling during most of the game). I saw the Hawks get beat fairly bad in the early 1st period, then adjust and pretty much dominate play in the 2nd period. Then they let a goal in the 3rd to go down 3-1, but adjusted quickly and scored a couple goals to tie it. To me, the Hawks did not get lucky in game 1. They won because they were supposed to -- they were the better team. Game 2, the Hawks controlled play the entire 1st period, then part of the 2nd. From about the halfway point of the 2nd period on, they were controlled. So, you've got the Hawks actually controlling more of the ice time so far, or at the very least a pretty even split. My question: how does this equal the Hawks having no chance whatever? Reactionary panic by impulsive fans. Nothing has changed, we have just as good of a chance as winning as they do. Games go back and forth, both teams will carry play again during this series and it will go back and forth.
