    I hope Wood doesn't play in that series. I'd like to see the ovation he gets. a standing ovation, followed by giving up the tying and winning runs in the bottom of the 9th i'd prefer a standing ovation when he comes in to pitch the 8th when the cubs are up 6 because he hasnt pitched in about a week so he needs work. p.s.     Bears will be about 18-22 Mil under the cap. They should be fine to sign Peppers. However, I will point out that I know it's common to want Peppers over Haynesworth, but Haynesworth is the better player, and the last time the Bears got really good production out of their DEs (Ogun, Brown, Anderson) and Urlacher....they had Tommie Harris playing like a stud DT. I could see it not mattering much though. I could see Peppers helping get great production out of the the DTs and LBs just as I could see Haynesworth helping get great production out of the DEs and LBs. They both have that kind of talent. I won't be complaining about either one of them though.
