  1. I don't know what's going to happen but we do not have a comfortable position in the WC; there are a lot of teams close and any one of them could streak, or more than one. We are very lucky to still be in that 2nd WC slot after the Colorado debacle. I think the Cubs can do better these last few games and lock it up. But they can't play like the last 3 and expect anything.
  2. I also hold to the "don't wish injury on a player" principle. So I get home from work yesterday, and my wife says this Rodgers thing is all over social media. Tik Tok feed has little else other than Rodgers stuff. She's a Packer fan. And she goes ahahahah! Karma! Rodgers is enough of an ass / COVID denier / jaggoff that I'll make an exception. A season without him is great news. I'll enjoy the NFL that much more this year.
  3. The guy who can see says no man, stop. The guy who can’t see says nah, I’m sure it will be fine.
  4. This Assad character isn’t impressive.
  5. They better be able to thrash this guy.
  6. Expectations for this season tanked out in a 3hr timeframe last Sunday. I'll take the Bucs and the points, thank you very much.
  7. Also confirmed, the great Karmic Wheel in the sky is real.
  8. Leonard Floyd was the guy too. That's some weird synchronicity.
  9. There’s a still shot that shows the very moment the injury occurred. The ankle and foot aren’t designed to move that way. It would make sense if it’s an Achilles.
  10. I don’t think he has any more idea where it’s going than we do.
  11. He’s too wild. He might even hit this guy too
  12. Nah. The pixie dust stays in Green Bay. Leave and you’re human again. Rodgers officially out.
  13. Sounds like ankle. Anti-climactic in the extreme. Millions of clickers changing to Netflix all at once.
  14. Knee must’ve buckled. Ankle maybe
  15. …and Rodgers is hurt.
  16. Yeah I feel like the Packer fans I talk to are a little more measured than that. They were all saying they didn't really know what was going to happen with Love. I still think they don't know. Most years Aaron Rodgers enjoyed 4 games vs. DET and CHI that were incredibly winnable. I think Love has 2 this year, but not the DET or MIN games. We'll see how he fares when he's not comfortable in the pocket. If someone twisted my arm right now, I'd say he's going to wind up middle of the pack of NFL QBs, capable of winning but only with a good team around him and especially a healthy RB room to keep the pressure off.
  17. It may be different or maybe not. For Packer fans the answer should still be they don't really know what they have. A better team could be on the other side of the ball and they have the capacity to handle it. Or they just collapse. It will be interesting to see what happens to Love if/when there aren't the clean pockets he had yesterday. But who knows, he does have some mobility to work with.
  18. I thought maybe a night’s sleep would make me feel better about this. You know, new day, Sun always rises, that kind of thing. But no. Unfortunately this was simply a huge disappointment with all kinds of damning implications for the Bears.
  19. I thought of this season as a mystery and therefore it should be fun to find out about this team. It was more fun when it was still a mystery.
  20. For me it was that the Bears didn’t seem to be interested.
  21. I don’t think he realizes that
  22. You’ll be glad you didn’t buy NFLST on days you can’t get the Bears. Trust me. I know.
  23. Boo birds game one. sigh…
