    I'd venture to say most highly-drafted QBs show flashes. I'd be worried about that completion percentage if I was a Packer fan. To be honest it's kind of weird to see a Packer QB miss easy throws, look down his primary receiver, and throw into tight coverage like he does. I'm not going to write him off. Not yet. Way too early like you said. I think DET is actually really good and they will probably take a few more teams by surprise.

    Suzuki made a terrible error, obviously. Once the Cubs gave back 5/6 runs off the lead, shutting them down in the bottom of the 9th was definitely in doubt. I guess I'm making excuses for him, but I really like him and don't want to just vilify him over this one play.

    No more calling grades stats, honest. I just don’t know how to process that. Fields graded higher than one might expect? I tend to just say OK, but I know what I saw.

    I just take football stats with a healthy grain of salt. Fields stunk yesterday. The eye test is as important as any of these grades. He was terrible.

    If they do an in-year firing I will surprised, in a good way.

    Also old-timey: letting a coach have his 3 years regardless of how bad he is. My best guess: Eberflus gets to fire coordinators after this year but keeps his job, because.....3 years.

    That’s the most memorable thing from this game, even for KC fans.

    They do look worse. Flus might be the worst HC hire for a franchise full of bad HC hires.

    And they won’t which speaks to the core issue with the Bears. Tolerance of mediocrity, or in this case total incompetence.
