At this point I think La Russa IBB's Manny for everything except bases loaded. I'd do that all through every game. The rest of this lineup is like a neutered dog.

That's not a problem for the Cubs. They aren't the ones who have to gain ground. I want as big a lead as possible, but Mizzou's right. All we can control is winning, and that's all we need to do. Yes, but that's not likely for the rest of the year. A bigger cushion to soften a losing streak would be nice.

I think we're a long way from acquiring Favre. You sure we have 9 million left under the cap? I've heard smaller numbers than that. I still don't think Favre would come here for the same reason he won't go to alot of other teams: he doesn't consider us to be a Super Bowl contender. He doesn't want to play just to play.
