    Yeah I'm a little worried about Ted against the Phils today. Hopefully we can get to Myers.

    What if the Brewers have been pushing us to greater heights though? They've been there the whole year. We've had to play our best baseball to stay head. I don't think a little positive pressure from the Crew has necessarily been a bad thing.

    We'll see what happens next week, but sheesh. This defense should be able to be blindfolded and be better than they've been. Yes, I know it's preseason but still. I don't recall our D looking this horrible even in preseason. I heard Saturday will be out for the Colts too. They're like a M.A.S.H. unit over there. We think we've got it bad.

    Dempster has been great, but I'd say the pitching matchup is even or slightly favors the Phillies. We don't hit Cole well at all. Gotta figure it out pronto! Beating the Phils with Hamels starting would set a very nice tone for the rest of the series.

    There always seems to be a team or two that pulls off the really big deadline deal and it simply doesn't help. Last year it was Atlanta and Tex. This year it looks like it will be the Dodgers and Manny although there's still plenty of time left to turn it back around. I'd rather face Colorado than Arizona, so go Rockies.

    They're not playing like it though. I'm crossing my fingers but not holding my breath. Over the course of just 30 games, is it really about who is the better team? Or is it more about whether a team can simply get on a hot streak at the critical time? I think the latter. All depends on whether the Rockies can keep streaking.
