  1. Well well well. Forte. And outrunning people. Nice. Oh, that was Sanders, not a LB.
  2. I wonder how much of this crowd noise is really real. It's 2nd and 6 in the 1st quarter. I'm not buying it, at least not 100%
  3. It's amazing. The refs serve notice that any contact with Peyton will be punished, and all of a sudden, no more blitzes. Come on. Can't we see what the teams would really do against each other without ref influence?
  4. Vasher has looked questionable at best.
  5. That's such a load of sheite.
  6. 7th rounders and scrubs in the middle and that's all the pass rush we can generate?
  7. See Addai immediately look for the cutback lane on that run? Fortunately it wasn't there that time.
  8. Freeny came through both St. Clair and Forte on that 3rd down play. So much for being ineffective due to lingering injury concerns. Orton better watch his back because the pass protection sure isn't going to.
  9. If it wasn't so sad it would be funny.
  10. What I saw on that drive was some pretty good playmaking to get the stop, but also some ineffective blitzes up the middle against that inexperienced Colts core.
  11. Blitz was ineffective.
  12. It could, but I get this feeling it won't matter as much as we hope it will. Ugoh was going to be a big problem last year too. Turned out to be alright for them.
  13. You're not even giving us one TD? Blah.
  14. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AnEMvfvaqjl61QdTr4S03WZDubYF?slug=ms-bradyoutforyear090708&prov=yhoo&type=lgns It did look fairly serious.
  15. Mark Bradley inactive, why am I not surprised. It's time to move on, IMHO. But I think I know why the Bears aren't. They're desperate to get any of that potential from him because the WR cupboard is so bare.
  16. They would if the Bears scored a couple TDs with that 40-yard-line field position. It seems safe to say "we won't kick to him" because it seems safe to think the Bears can't do anything about it. *sigh*
  17. I understand Merriman is out of the game now. Don't know why though.
  18. That Anderson/Edwards combo isn't really clicking for the Browns right now.
  19. That's correct. Didn't the Bears have the best field position in the NFL last year? The Bears have to make other teams pay for that. I heard that the Bears might be slotting their new LG to start b next week. That has to be an upgrade correct? If he's really healthy, I would think he's an upgrade. Week 2 might be too soon though.
  20. My level of enthusiam is less this year. Much less. But I'm willing to give Lovie/Angelo just one more chance to build it back up. If I can see some young players develop and start to see a path to the future at a few positions, I'll watch. I'm nowhere near as gung-ho as I was a few years ago though. Back then we had a young up-and-coming defense that was promising to wreak terror on the entire league. The possibilities seemed endless -- good times indeed.
  21. They do it because "the Cubs always blow it" and OMG THEY'RE ABOUT TO DO IT AGAIN! Wait until the playoffs come and they break out the goats and black cats.
  22. He's getting outs. With the lead he has the last thing he should do is nibble around. Yes the Grand Slam looks bad but we're still talking a 5 run lead here.
  23. Well of course. He's given a bases loaded situation, he has to throw a strike on the first pitch. That wasn't all that unpredictable.
