  1. 2010 A dome, right? false I know, it's a couple hundred miles from Fargo winter and it's open air. Gonna be amazing in April. People know what Fargo is? Well, I can't say they're gonna find out what Fargo is like, but I can say the country will discover why the entire downtown of Minneapolis is connected via indoor tunnels.
  2. That was a veritable explosion of grit-love from Red.

  4. I hope Lou doesn't still think Theriot is fast.
  5. Probably about a month before it thaws out.
  6. No extra innings. Unless we sub in the scrub team. Sub the Cub Scrubs.
  7. I don't know. I can't root for the Cubs to lose, I've tried. I'm not wired like that.
  8. Come on Lou, fly ball pitcher in a ground ball situation.
  9. I noticed that the Phils no longer want to win the East either.
  10. It's really strange and ironic that we've basically beaten this team badly with our scrubbies. Except that one of our best pitchers -- of all guys -- gave up a bunch of walks and a granny so the game isn't over. I love baseball. Except when I hate it. Except I can't stop loving it.
  11. Yeah that didn't make much sense to me. Unless Lou would like to give the Mets an opportunity to win. Cuz, you know, the Brewers are going to win tonight.
  12. Hmmm, why this? Chavez isn't that great is he? Now can't afford a walk?
  13. It would be nice to see one of these back of the BP guys get the job done.
  14. It seems like Wright is always coming up with RISP. That's not a real winning policy. Just for future reference, you know.
  15. I understand that it can be shown he's a decent backup SS, but I still want to try to do better. Yay, some good luck. Hart will need more of that to hold this lead.
  16. Lou's pitching Hart? OK, now I know Lou's not really trying to win.
  17. The umpiring isn't as bad as getting swept to a team who was 2.5 games behind with 6 games left to play. And Z forgot how to throw strikes again. I belive this is the post Red Flash was looking for. Other guy said that the Twins werent that good. Hey, wait when did I say the Twins were bad, I was making fun of the Sox on a potential choke. I mentioned that the Twins were not all that good, as someone mentioned they've got two great hitters surrounded by a bunch of bad to average hitters. There's something about that blasted dome though. You may have noticed it's a faux baseball field. Doesn't it have those funky seats folded up in LF or RF along with those weird giant fans behind home plate? Complete with glorified Saran Wrap for an outfield fence. It's like playing baseball in a giant cafeteria.
  18. I hope a situation doesn't come up in the playoffs where we need Daryle to come through. Thank you Sori.
  19. I'd rather go fish with Ronny, better-than-average backup SS or not.

  21. I'm mostly concerned about injuries, so DeRo you better not be hurt bad. Anyone know what happened? I haven't been watching :)
  22. I think the Manny deal was the most effective, and it doesn't feel very good to say it.
  23. Milwaukee fans shudder to think where they'd be this season without CC right now. Although I'm sure they'd take comfort in the fact that they would have LaPorta. True. Although if they don't make the playoffs, they basically lost LaPorta for nothing. And the deal is a failure if they don't, since it was a rental specifically to get them to the playoffs.
  24. This doesn't make much sense to me. Who would you rather face other than a tired CC, a hurt Sheets, and a recovering Gallardo? We've beaten the Crew 6 of 7 games recently, right? I'd rather face the Mets, personally, but I wouldn't tank just to get them in. I think both teams are about even, but the Brewers are slightly better. But really, I think the Cubs can beat either. I guess right now, I'm not really *fearing* any of these teams. To me we're a better ballclub than any of them. I would probably choose the Mets. But I won't be making excuses just because we draw the Dodgers -- we should beat that ballclub. Bottom line. I think we're the class of the NL and we should be beating any of these teams. If we don't, that's on us -- not the "draw" we got.
