  1. OK :) You had me worried there, Butters.
  2. You're out of your mind. He's probably the only good thing we have left in the WR corps. Yeah, I don't understand cutting a cheap player that's actually halfway decent. And for some odd reason, Earl Bennett has gotten the "injury prone" tag. But before he was hit on a play that should have been a 15 yard penalty and $15K fine, he'd only missed 1 game due to injury in his career and that was the meaningless finale vs. the Packers last year. Earl is fine as the 3 or 4 WR, on this or any other team in the league. Yeah, I would think twice before signing TO even given our horrid WR corps, but in any case it wouldn't be by cutting Bennett. I'm still hoping he can get healthy and contribute later on. The news from Angelo is very disappointing. Our passing game was terrible anyway, but I definitely feel like he is missed. I think Jay misses him, especially for those quick throws over the middle where he can get yards without having to hang himself out to dry for the pass rush, which we can't block.
  3. Meriweather hasn't been here long enough for me to draw a conclusion on him.

  5. Seems like it runs fast for a little while, then over time it builds up problems, gets slower, then stops responding..... Then I get errors, everything goes to hell for awhile. Then it resets and runs good for awhile. Lather, rinse, repeat.
  6. Bye bye Falcons. Wisconsin sports dominance continues.
  7. Wow. This one's over. NO way in hell Atlanta comes back now. 22 points without Atlanta doing crap.
  8. Looks like he lead with the head, and it wound up hurting him.
  9. What stuff has he been saying that's hyperbole and dumb? More stuff than just one thing, but the last thing he suggested was that a Packer lineman should just "let the defender take his best shot" at Rodgers. LOL Well, to be fair, the suggestion was that Rodgers has great escapability, which is true. But it's just not anything a lineman would ever do. And he knows that...
  10. I hope you all realize if purple shirt guy was right, and Theo comes to Chicago.... ....you aren't going to hear the end of it from Sullivan.
  11. It's only a 1 point game and we have not had much of a pass rush. You know how this goes.

  13. Oh hey look, what a surprise. The Falcons' offense shut down and the Packers caught them. So unpredictable.
  14. So....permission was secretly given? Which means.......purple fanta shirt guy was right?!?
  15. It's kind of maddening, because he should know better on some of these things, and I suspect he actually does. Quit trying to impress people with hyperbole and just give good analysis.
  16. Man, Collinsworth makes some unbelievably dumb comments sometimes.
  17. I was running treadmill when Braun and Fielder swung the hammer and gave the Crew the lead. OK, I admit it: I shouted for joy, and now all the people in my local gym think I'm a Brewer fan.
  18. Falcons offense will shut down, thusly allowing the Packers to overtake them and win. Haven't ever seen this before.
  19. They can't. It's the Cardinals. Surely they can't blow this.
  20. Now every break there are Aaron Rodgers commercials. And he's good in them, too. I need to find something he's not good at.
  21. Al won championships. Long ago, but he did win. So did Wirtz. They bought the team in 1954, and won it all in 1961. Yeah, but 1961 is much more a distant memory than the '80s. I wasn't even alive in '61.
  22. Opening game was like last year's Hawks. Last night was more like year-before-last Hawks. Let's have more like last night.
  23. Yeah! 2-0 Hawks.
  24. .....and just like that he throws another long one that's completed.
  25. It seems like a game plan of "stack 9 in the box and dare Denard to beat you by throwing" wouldn't be that hard to pull off, and yet nobody's been able to do it yet this year. Although, NW was game last week until the 4th quarter, too. Yes, they collapsed last week so we'll see... The last 2 long passes I've seen from Denard have been nothing more than heave-ho, pray-my-guy-comes-down-with-it rainbows. It's not a wonder one of them was picked off. He needs to do better than that to be successful long term. Or, just don't throw long and use his speed and skills to make plays from the pocket.
