Yeah I think we'll grind this thing out. The Chiefs aren't coming to Chicago and unseating us. We've been over the QB situation of both teams. The bottom line is, we're a better overall team than them and we're at home. Got to believe in that. I'm looking forward to a 17-10 win this Sunday, something like that. We got this.

They've looked really good at times this year, and other times downright awful. One game in the last 5 days, they should be well rested and flying all over the ice. The only thing that makes me not overreact is that we went through a similar lackadaisical period 2 years ago in March when everyone was bagging on the goaltender, and the Hawks were struggling against mediocre to bad teams. Certainly got out of that hole. Niemi just put it together for us. Be honest. Is Crawford going to do the same?

Sure, it would be nice but we're in the middle of a season here. Nothing would happen mid-stream. I'll think about this in 2012, when our season is over.

Yeah, it's kind of dragging me down. Not like there's been much to watch with these basketball-less weekday evenings. Then the Blackhawks come on and stink up the joint. Whatever. Sports are sports. But I feel like this team shouldn't be tanking to hell like this. We had a nice start, now it's just nothing.

Good for him, but we do a number of different plays in different situations. Every game there are certain formations or situations where a defender might recognize what is going to happen, based on his film study. That's why they do it, frankly. But he didn't discover some deep, dark secret. He did his homework, and essentially got an advantage from it like countless others.

It's really bad. Blow up the middle and their QB -- whoever he may be -- will fold like a deck of cards.

This is one hell of a boring ass game. Yay, the Saints are blowing out the Giants. As expected. I guess it helps the Bears, but man. What else is on tonight?

The Hanie yardage total is definitely interesting. Just cut down the turnovers.

thank you, but lets face it, it wasnt hard to do. They guy came out talking about not being a "game manager" and wanting to throw the ball. It was his first game this season under a really complex offensive scheme, he was bound to have a rough game. The thing I really like about Hanie (and its something I love about Cutler) is that he just doesn't care that it could be rough. Hanie will pick up this offense and have a very good game, likely even a string of games. The question is whether or not he will in time to save the season. The only other option is to play it safe and ram Forte/Barber down everyones throats. That would have been a better game plan for today, but you know Martz wont do that. Kansas City. I wonder how quick Hanie can learn, I'm guessing pretty quick. At least I'm hoping. Look at the Chiefs at home against the Steelers D. It's just nothingness. If we can't neuter these wayward dogs on our home turf, then I'm pouring myself wholly and completely into the Blackhawks and the newly-revived Bulls season. Besides, N&G says I need to be more confident & cocky. WE WILL DESTROY THESE FOOLS.

Someone called for 3 Hanie INTs. Congrats? I guess :( Anyway, I'm still operating under the assumption that we can win 3 games against this riff raff, even with Hanie. To heck with everything else. We play Cutler in limited duty during the Packer game to knock the rust off, then go for it in our opening playoff game. Hopefully we catch someone by surprise and pick up a playoff win. That's the plan, anyway.
