You missed my point completely. The Blackhawks are finished. If DRose doesn't take the Bulls deep into the playoffs, this summer will be filled with nothing more than a ton of Cubs losses. Missed your point, yes. I wasn't even assuming you are a Blackhawks fan. I thought you posted in the wrong thread, LOL.

Yeah the last place a glimmer of hope would come from, but I'll take it. They better figure out some way to get this done. Not sure how but they need to get something past Smith to save the season.

And to think we have to go through this against a phantom team that shouldn't even exist. At least with the Canucks it's against a real franchise that exists because people care about the sport. Phoenix never cared about hockey, that team should be somewhere else. Hockey players shouldn't have the option of suntanning during the season dammit.

As someone once said "It's a fast game". I guess they have to defend their player but Raffi Torres isn't exactly Mother Theresa out there. Why not just say, "he was trying to make a play and got there late." That satisfies the 'don't hang him out to dry' element but still acknowledges the dangerous and reckless nature of the hit. My theory: because they told Raffi to do it. They aren't going to admit anything.
