  1. They just can't get Ball going. Just cannot.
  2. Concern escalating. Wisconsin again floundering. Bucky, sweating.
  3. http://www.foxsportssouthwest.com/09/28/12/Victorias-Secret-opening-at-Cowboys-Stad/msn_landing.html?blockID=796863&feedID=3742 Just in time for the game.
  4. Pompei will probably use it anyway, as an example of how bad a team mate / person Cutler is.
  5. Last night's game was calm & serene, almost a zen experience. Monday night was much more tense, exciting......FUN! There's only one way to solve this: bring back the replacements.
  6. Impressive. They'll need to keep it up this week, for sure. I think we need another shut down effort from the D to come out of there with the W.
  7. You're going to see him everywhere this weekend. He'll probably be the one ref that gets a large share of the TV re-play time for all the news clips, since he's the most recognizable face. So......hold yer nose and get ready for a Hochuli avalanche :)
  8. I can't believe we're pissing away Cutler's prime like this. Jesus, they don't make it easy to be a fan that's for sure. No protection, ever. Only now obtained a receiving target. But yank the playcalling so it doesn't matter. Maddening.
  9. Not so sure, that's a lot of points
  10. LOL @ the NFL. "We support the decision of the replacement refs."
  11. Yeah. I'm beginning to wonder if this was a bad move.
  12. haha, yeah it worked out all right.
  13. I thought we hired Bates to help with those issues.
  14. I got money on Soul. Booze too expensive at the games. Lines too long, too.
  15. Multi-task it, man. This is the EN-EF-EL we're talkin' about here. :)
  16. Is it a linkable image/vid? I'd like to see it.
  17. Interesting that the NFL acknowledged the replacement refs made a mistake on PI that should have given the game to the Packers. So they still kind of threw the replacements into the meatgrinder, but it was easier to do it on the PI miss because that's always a judgement call that nobody would argue should/could be overturned. At least, that's how I'm reading it: http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2012/09/25/monday-night-football-ending-brings-more-heat-to-replacement-refs/ Also, LOL at Mark Cuban's tweet: I would love to see what my reaction would be if a Mavs game ended like #MNF. #Expensive #NBAtime
  18. One online sportsbook is refunding money now: http://deadspin.com/feckless-in-seattle/
  19. I sure hope not. Lovie said it wasn't related to a Bush injury, FWIW: http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/bears/post/_/id/4678452/lovie-injury-no-factor-in-bush-sitting-late
  20. I'm pretty sure they would all be alive if they reversed that call. I'm just glad they didn't. Heh. NFL outrage is kinda fun, I can't help but enjoy that part of it.
  21. Yeah, I may never watch football again. You have broken my heart NFL. Broken my heart. Here you go, some NBA news for you http://www.cbssports.com/nba/blog/eye-on-basketball/20357546/the-nba-reacts-to-monday-night-footballs-replacement-ref-debacle
  22. Tate is so busy committing PI, he really just gets in a token stab at the ball. Sure, his hands touch it but Jennings has it. Also, it's clear the refs run over afterwards and just blow the call, based on what they see on the ground. I don't think they ever see this angle. It doesn't change anything for me.
  23. Eh, it really was horrible. But it will now be debated and debated for days with every piece of detail put on the screen to a level that would not normally be done. The bottom line for me is, I feel completely confident with the regular refs that would not have been called a TD. And also, when you put this one call in the context of the slew of horrifying incompetence that is canvassing the entire league right now, it's just beyond anything that can possibly be defended.
  24. By the time the players hit the ground, which is when possession is determined, both players had the ball. Simultaneous catch goes to the offense. Unless I'm misunderstanding the rule. Think of all the other catches that would have to be re-examined if that's the case. If that's all it takes to trigger the simultaneous rule, then it would be very difficult for a defender to ever get an INT where the receiver can make a token stab at possession.
