  1. The point I got is this guy is disgusted by Cutler but tired of getting crapped on for being such a douchebag about displaying his disgust for Cutler. Heh, yeah: I give up, I hate this guy but too many tweets against me.

    NFL Week 5

I'll watch. I haven't seen much of Zona this year. By the way, it's amusing how the Jets got killed last week, and now Houston rolls into town Monday night. That could be a case of escalating catastrophe.
  3. He's not sick & tired enough to give up all that cash, believe me.
  4. Cubs A's O's <= -0.5 WAR players 7 1 3 The Cubs' problem isn't so much the stars, it's the scrubs. Interesting that the difference between the O's and Cubs still isn't that much, given the huge difference in wins.
  5. The 2012 Cubs. You're gonna win 60, and you're gonna lose 60. It's what you do with the other 42 that counts!
  6. Most of the time. This year no Cubs means chance to make sure Cubs not such as much next time we see them play. 10:47 on a wednesday morning is way too early for drinking, isn't it? Holy [expletive], did I really write that post? LOL. I've said that before, but never Wednesday morning :)
  7. The point I got from the article is that the swirl on this thing is now tired and boring. And I agree with that.
  8. Not to take the thread too far off topic, but I agree Bernstein can be good. What drags him down is really......well, BOERS. Boers is horrible. Just plain & simple. Horrible.
  9. Hah, I just saw this:
  10. I don't think Hester would've run that route when he first started as a WR. Very nicely done.

    2013

No one is going to tolerate this thing going beyond next year. And I don't think they'll have to. Whatever they get done in our system over the next 2 offseasons, they are going to have to open the wallet a little and grab the right FAs to supplement. I think that's where this discussion was heading. How much does being bad affect a FA who is considering options, in MLB.
  12. Baffling, considering he moved the Bengals up 3 spots while claiming they are getting fat on a light schedule, and the Eagles up 4 spots on the strength of their 2-point win at home. And he doesn't address the move down in his comment about the Bears.
  13. Come to think of it, that's spot on. Cutler should be Mac's kind of guy. Bounced around a bit in his career, has a rep for being a little grumpy & stand-off-ish at times, etc -- but has also experienced success.
  14. Probably quite a few in the audience who didn't understand those references, too.
  15. I don't listen to that show very much, but it seems like Mac spares no opportunity to rip into Cutler. Like Jay killed his dog or something.
  16. Hot damn, I love that man. Also between the hot pink billed hat and glasses, I love that Tice looks like a sad old man trying to be trendy. Yeah, hehe. Cutler wasn't blowing off Tice, he just didn't recognize him. I'm all for breast cancer awareness, believe me. But the pink last night. Wow.
  17. I don't know much about JAX, except that they have MJD. I'm not concerned about the game, but the Bears will likely have to hold up all game being run at, rather than going after the QB every play and tipping balls for INTs. That could make this a much closer game than expected. Fewer turnover opportunities, more of a grind-it-out affair. I'll go 23-17 Bears.
  18. Gruden is taking some flak for the pre-game QB gunslinger bit, and it was pretty over-the-top. Almost manic. One thing though: they added an entire production around it, with music, pictures of Clint Eastwood, etc. It was planned and supported by the production team. I don't know if that makes it better, but it wasn't just Gruden going off. It's the entire MNF crew doing it.
  19. Brandon Marshall (paraphrase): "Hats of to Jay, because he really stays on me. I love him to death." You know the story will be that he walked away from Tice, though. Nothing will be said about how he is slowly forging a link with his key weapons, and making real progress. He's not a good guy, dammit!!!
  20. You know, this Romo guy. He's not really that great. Some of those throws: just below expectations. That is all.
  21. I admit, I never expected that. What a drudging. Great fun!
  22. LOL. Please tell me this isn't going to be the story now for an entire week.

  24. I expected a Chicago win tonight. But after all the Cutler self-loathing and doubt for this team, it's been a total Chicago love fest on the air tonight. I feel like the Patriots for just a moment! They love us!
