  1. Think I'm gonna watch the rest of this just to hear how funeral-like Hawk's announcing can become.
  2. Valbuena seems to think he can hit the ball a little bit.
  3. I didn't watch the post game interview with Costas & Simpson live. Kind of wish I did now.
  4. Thunder better win next game or they're done.
  5. Blah blah blah.
  6. OKC gets a big steal there. They need more.
  7. What sticks out in my mind is how tough the course was. Not one golfer made par for the tourney.
  8. I'm actually a little disturbed how quickly I completely forgot Sheets existed, given that he was a pretty solid pitcher.
  9. You don't think Miami has a chance to win one game on their home court? It was an exaggeration of sorts. I would guess the Thunder take 2/3 in Miami, though, and really wouldn't be terribly surprised to see them take all 3. HCA is big, but I just think OKC is a superior team. Durant, Westbook, and Harden can't be stopped off the dribble. They just need to be aggressive and attack from the beginning and not wait until they're down by double digits. It's a pretty big exaggeration. Game 2 was huge for the Heat. Nobody knows what will happen until it unfolds but you can't dismiss the fact that the Heat now have the home court advantage in the series. If they hold serve tonight it's actually starting to look dim for OKC, rather than the other way around.
  10. ...stream...of...thought... ...somewhere in here...is the underlying... ...unhappiness... ...with the season...
  11. People think that rooting for the Heat makes them less meatball-like. It's like people who pretend they're into Frank Zappa because they think it makes them look like music snobs. I know Zappa was a great musician and everything but come on, FRANK ZAPPA BURNED DOWN YOUR GHETTO. DON'T YOU HATE HIM LIKE JUST A LITTLE BIT? IS IT REALLY WORTH LISTENING TO HIS MUSIC TO DENY YOUR INNER MEATBALL? Be human, bro. Be human. LOL, okay then.
  12. There will always be a group of super fair weather fans who root for all the "best" teams. I work with a guy who is a Heat/Yankees/Patriots/UK fan. I'm sure he'll buy all new gear next year. Which, of course, means he's a fan of nothing.
  13. Well, then they need to start playing like it. Because tonight they decided to suck early and couldn't come back like they did in game 1. Deciding not to suck would be a good first step.
  14. In The Year When Everything Went Wrong, Lebron winning it all is starting to make more & more sense. The stars aren't aligning correctly, man.
  15. How can you miss that? HOW?!?
  16. No....
  17. They need to start draining 3's.
  18. Ugh, Durant. Can't miss any FTs at this point.
  19. oh my god give me a break that's just luck.
  20. come back come back can't handle the heat winning come back
  21. God who the [expletive] cares this is dumb.
  22. Of course. It doesn't hurt that our 3 home interleague opponents are the White Sox (obvious), Tigers (1/3rd of Chicago's population is from Detroit) and the Red Sox (annoying but travel in bunches) Did anyone say it's a surprise? For me, it's just strange because I've never experienced it before. But certainly not surprising.
