  1. He's fine, stop it. Granted he's not a road grater i think he's afraid of hurting his knee again and instantly gets his feet off the turf when he's hit Maybe. They got Bush for the short yardage stuff and he failed. I can't blame forte for not being mr everything. He's very close
  2. He's fine, stop it. Granted he's not a road grater
  3. Maybe, but that drive would have been exactly the same with Flynn. Dink & dunk all the way down the field, and the Bears powerless to stop it. Pray for more mistakes
  4. He met his quota
  5. Yeah our offense will be rested up for another 3 and out. What happened to that offense, by the way? These are not good defenses the past 2 weeks
  6. yeah, looked like PI to me, too Within 5 yards? I don't get it
  7. Yes, he's expected to play. Does it really matter that much? Starks is perfectly capable
  8. I'll be in Vegas for this one, watching Rodgers slice through our defense like a hot knife through butter. I'll subscribe to the shoot out theory, but the Bears come up significantly short. With Rodgers guiding the Pack, look for extended scoring drives where lots of clock is eaten and we just can't get off the field. Bears should be able to do some damage too in the same way, but it just won't match the Packers. Defenses won't matter in this game. It's offense against offense, and the Packers simply have more with Rodgers. Packers 45 Bears 31.
  9. How can the reward be greater than the risk? Still a long shot to win a Superbowl (may be underdogs in the 1st round if they win). If they're just going to win 1 game, I don't see how that's work risking 2014 for. I'm going to assume there's little risk to the 2014 season itself. Because that would be insanity. Schefter is on ESPN right now saying Rodgers has medical clearance. So I guess that's that.
  10. Rozner making some outlandish claims today, saying all it will take to re-injure Rodgers is a firm shove. I highly doubt that, after 8 weeks. Also saying Rodgers is getting killed up here. Not true. A few meatballs, yeah. But most Packer fans I'm around were just disappointed in the length of time it was taking.
  11. Can Rodgers even play if he wanted to without the doctors clearing him? I didn't think that was possible. I do not know. I'm pretty sure he can't in the case of concussions, but not sure about other injuries
  12. Still not clear if the doctors agree he should play, or if this is Rodgers signing off on playing even without clearance.
  13. Too bad Cowboys couldn't hold a 26 point lead or Gould couldn't hit a FG he usually makes in his sleep. Just the way it usually seems to go. It's going to be so ugly if Rodgers gets ahold of these clowns Sunday. The only chance would be if he's rusty and makes a few mistakes.
  14. Well, fwiw Mortensen said he expects Rodgers will not be cleared. I think the Packers are doing a nice job of keeping this thing up in the air week-to-week.
  15. Lol. NOPE
  16. I would greatly enjoy the Atlanta comeback win here.
  17. It would be a massive shocker if that Dallas team ends up in the playoffs over the Eagles team we just witnessed. I for one don't want to see it.
  18. Eagles will sleepwalk into the playoffs now, and have a good shot at advancing.
  19. Maybe we won't have to wait until Friday this week, although from a GB standpoint I can't imagine why they wouldn't want to keep the Bears in the dark for as long as possible. Oh I can, but I'm at risk of beating a dead horse now.
  20. Potentially very damaging loss for the Packers in terms of injury. It's been talked about on here by others, but here's a summary: Rodgers: a report came out Sunday that Rodgers was actually not at all close to coming back. This report says that not only is Rodgers not medically cleared, but that his most recent tests showed "extraordinary risk" of injury if he plays. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/10180238/aaron-rodgers-green-bay-packers-was-never-close-playing-pittsburgh-steelers If true -- big IF, IMO -- it would seem to indicate that he won't be able to play against the Bears either, unless he pushes it or suddenly heals very fast from where he is. We'll see. Matthews: Matthews re-injured his thumb. It's an extreme injury, and the same one he had before. Hard to imagine him playing next week, or in the playoffs for that matter if the Pack were to get in. Big win for the Bears -- Matthews is, obviously, a dirtball who would no doubt attempt to put Cutler in the hospital on an illegal hit. Lacy: Lacy's been battling an ankle injury. He's been able to continue playing, but not this time. It would seem he has injured it more severely than previously. Not sure if this will help the Bears or not because you could put a contestant on the Biggest Loser back there and he'd run for 100+ yards. Starks is more than capable of carving up the Bears pathetic "empty jersey" D to the tune of 150+ yards. http://espn.go.com/blog/green-bay-packers/post/_/id/5457/packers-injuries-to-watch-in-week-17
  21. And trending downward too. I would have loved to give up only 161 yards rushing yesterday, that's how biblically awful this has become.
  22. Every year people have 50 players all going before the Bears pick at 22. There's going to be valid help available when the Bears pick. Just need to not blow it on another McClellin.
  23. Here's to hoping that, come 6pm Sunday, you are REALLY hating the NFL's broadcast policies, and not backtracking on that statement.
