    Sounds to me like he’s a Trump-GOPer

    NFL Week 9

So….who else knew Rodgers was unvaxxed? Seems like the team knew.
  4. I took on as much as I could. I have never seen as much detailed Jets info so I feel like I’m now up to speed. Cheers Tom :)
  5. The top 5 RBs matter. The bottom 5 RBs matter in the opposite way. The other 90 are all the same. That doesn't sound right. Replacement-level players are replacement level because there are a lot of faceless duplicate versions of them around. I can maybe buy the top 5 part though. Without looking at the numbers, Henry feels like a generational RB to me and just as a fan, not having him play the season out really sucks.
  6. Terrible news on Henry.
  7. Right. He’s not selling when he’s a game out of the playoffs in a weak conference. He absolutely, totally should. But he won’t. This is a nightmare. Is firepace.com domain taken?
  8. That was awesome. Even the GOAT fails sometimes. But great jump on the ball too. Saints were ready for that.
  9. Yeah I was on a plane and it was 16-15 Bears. Then I landed and saw the final score. Figures.
  10. That might be the single worst blown coverage I have ever seen (NO).
  11. They can control their own fate by beating Penn State and Ohio State right? Beating Ohio State would save him but…not going to happen. It would legitimately be the most shocking sports occurrence to benefit a team I root for in my life Yeah, acknowledging what Derwood said, if Michigan starts out so promisingly and then loses to both MSU and OSU then I think it’s time to move on.

  13. Packers are one of the best traveling fan bases in sports, if not the best. Once I saw all the green and gold it made sense, but yeah the showing last night was impressive. I feel like the Cardinals run D was exposed, and it will be interesting to see how that plays out the rest of the season for them. I *think* Jones was stopped before the goal line but didn’t see the definitive view to justify overturning the call. The game would have been over right there.
  14. Are there 2 Cardinals teams in the league? This one would have its hands full with the Lions.
  15. So it's going from bad, to weird.
  16. The Iowa game is homecoming for the Badgers. The only home win I've seen this year was Army and I was legitimately fighting the urge to fall asleep in the stands. It might get real ugly, both in terms of the game and in terms of the fan reaction. Best bet for the Badgers is to run, run, run and run some more.
  17. I'm protocol ignorant so I have no idea. I think people in protocol due to close contract can get out of it with 2 negative tests. Unless it's a situation where test was on Saturday, results weren't known till after the game Sunday, and it's 7 days from test? Ouch. So you are saying potentially he was walking around with COVID-19 yesterday, spreading it.
  18. Seriously? This MF'er needs to be shown the door like now, how could any ownership just sit back and let this moron continue to coach their team? Maybe that's why ownership is "fed up." Nagy walking the halls telling people remember those other long losing streaks?
  19. or better yet, why he feels the losing happening before the lack of scoring. Maybe he should consider it the other way, lack of scoring creating losing streaks? Maybe he should just go.
  20. There appears to be some sort of metaphysical force that stops the Bears from having a current generation, professional level offense. I do not think any change, from a coaching perspective, QB perspective, GM perspective, will ever change it. It will remain this way until I am dust. We used to think along those same lines regarding the Cubs winning the WS, anything can happen. Of course, it did take an ownership change so, you may be correct. Using the Cub example, we have 72 years to go.....and a few ownership changes. My yet-to-be-conceived grandchildren may see it!
  21. ...and why does every other team seem to have a good scramble drill where receivers find the open spot after the QB starts to move out of the pocket? That simply must be bad coaching. Has to be. Shouldn't a supposedly good WR like Robinson be able to do that despite the lack of coaching? I guess so but in my mind that cannot be a reason to release the coaches from responsibility. And he's just one guy, it's not only him. I think it was raw saying earlier, Robinson is clearly not happy with his situation. That can't be excuse either though.
  22. What do you mean by Leno and Fuller? Fuller was benched in Denver, it was the right decision to move on. Leno is a middling overpaid lineman, they got everything they could out of the late draft pick and moved on, it was fine. And Cohen in injured, so, like what are you listing him for? I'm more concerned about guys like Cole Kmet taken so high and not performing at all. Mooney being the supposed new guy not catching easily catchable balls. Yes, Foles was a trash move. 6) o-line. I feel like this is the biggest one on the list but listed last. We've been talking about it for years. That's got to earn Pace a pink slip. How is Fields or any other QB going to succeed with this trash up front? Yeah I get the Jenkins situation but shouldn't Pace have known that problem and it's just one guy, there's problems everywhere. Like you said Leno was mediocre and overpaid.

  24. Another thing, SF is bad. There’s no excuse for today to carry forward to next week. There are miles of difference between the quality of competition today vs 7 days from now. Get it together, win next week and go from there.
  25. Could be worse. Could be Detroit.
