    He has been outstanding this season. That drive should have ended, but [expletive] rules kept it alive. I disagree. I'm very underwhelmed by his play -- his tackling in particular. Look, you're in the end zone. Bulger is flushed. You need to be looking for the ball, not just staring at the receiver. I also think Till has been pretty solid this year. It's like he needs to be perfect or he gets criticized. Vasher's been burned this year too, but nobody says a word.

    The refs just kept roughly 2 million viewers from changing the channel. That's what this is about. Keep it close, milk a few more dollars out for the advertisers.

    Anderson didnt go after the head on purpose. And Theisman made it out to be alot worse than it actually was. He didn't even hit the head first, as opposed to what Theisman said. Just a horrid penalty, protecting the QB has gone too far. Seriously. Anderson had no other way to get the quarterback. What's he supposed to do, just miss him so he doesn't get a penalty. It's gotten insane. I know. For God's sake, it's gotten to the point where a defender must choose between getting fired for letting a big pass be completed, or get penalized and fined for tackling the QB. Hmmmm. Work at McDonald's. Get a 15 yard penalty. Sell home electronics. Yellow flag. Decisions decisions.

    Yep. This league doesn't want defensive stops. Most certainly not when they know damn well millions of people are reaching for their channel changers to catch the beginning of Jay Leno.

    Ignore the penalties. Just take his damn head off next time. These rules are stupid. If you're going to get a penalty, get your money's worth. Better than giving up long passes.

    Well, we know they want the NO story to come true. You know they're already readying the headlines: "Take that Katrina! Saints win!" and "The Brees is stronger than a Hurricane." I think they'll say Saints.

    Kreutz running to Benson's defense. Benson's slowly starting to win the veterans over, people.

    It has to be really, really tempting at this point. But, they also know that if they can keep the clock moving, run it, and get 6, the game is pretty much over. I really thought they'd have gone for the deep play fake by now, but they haven't. I dunno, I sort of like the "play-action-fake-McKie-short-pass-so-he-can-knock-Hill's-head-off" play :)

    Need to get those turnovers. That might have destroyed the Rams right there. How many times when a turnover is missed do we see the other team come up with gold the other way? D needs to shut down all notion of that right now.

    He still does suck. I'd like to know his 40 time. He *seems* so slow for a guy his size, but it's difficult to really tell without the stopwatch.
