  1. Seldom has a mere week seemed like such a long time.
  2. Do they use the same tiebreakers as the ones they use for the playoffs? If so they’d have the same record, same H2H, same division record, same common games record, same conference record so it would come down to strength of victory which the Vikings are leading (current SOV for Minnesota is .436 Bears SOV is .354) Breaking it out even more, the Viking wins have a combined record of 13 games under .500, Bears wins have a combined record of 32 games under .500. Maybe possible for the Bears to catch up there but seems unlikely You’d think it’d be the same. Thanks for the mini research, hopefully the Bears are safe from 2nd!! Edit: I went to the playoff machine on espn and put all the teams they beat with losses and all the teams we beat with wins in week 17 and it still shows us 3rd. Funny they use the same mechanism to determine which crappy team will “win” the right to get clobbered the following season.
  3. That’s going to be a tall order going into GB and winning. Road teams have done well this year…except in GB.
  4. Vikings are going to lose either way but it would’ve been nice if Cousins was on the field when their season ends.
  5. I feel you haven’t heard a thing Tessitore has said all night. I’m at the game so no. It’s really cool, you thinking of us poor SOBs sitting home on the couch.
  6. total bananas I’m probably biased being a B1G fan but it just seems like the Rose Bowl delivers more often.
  7. Ugh, Corral. This is why many opt out of the bowl games.
  8. Helluva Rose Bowl.
  9. Heck UM is ranked higher. I never expected to see this kind of Men vs. Boys game. I figured UGA would win but not like this.
  10. Well this has been disappointing to say the least. Hope UGA/Bama is a good game.
  11. No other player made me go "no no no yes yes YES!" more than Hester, ever. And the thing is, there likely won't be another Hester because KR are so different now. The last of his kind.
  12. Damn it’s hard to watch Jake Ferguson down with a knee in his final game as a Badger. Probably could have opted out and he’s got real draft potential. Hope it isn’t serious.
  13. If they lose to Pitt's #3 QB, that will be quite something It’s been comedy watching them try to complete passes but they have a legit shot to redeem themselves here.
  14. Michigan State loses control of a game they were dominating.
  15. I may or may not watch every game legally or illegally on my computer, and have only missed 2 games. Thanks for the non-tip of something you don't do.
  16. I ponied up for the League Pass before the season started and it's one of the best decisions I've made in a while. Only game I didn't get to watch was the Heat game right before the shut down. For some reason it didn't record properly to my DVR. Yeah, I'm in the Bucks' market so obviously I'll get those games. I'm going to check into League Pass, maybe they do a discount if you join up mid season.
  17. I live out of market, and I sure wish some of these games were on national TV so I could see what everyone is talking about. Team is 2nd in the Eastern Conference right now. Can't they flex to a few of the Bulls games?
  18. RIP. Kind of crazy he lived just long enough to see the documentary air. As a coach, that Raiders team with he and Snake Stabler and Fred Biletnikoff got me into football nearly as much as Payton.
  19. yeah, i don't know. not really sure what the hype is about when tom brady and bruce arians (not to mention chris godwin, mike evans, antonio brown, etc.) are around. Unless people feel that he's really benefitted in his own skillset because of them. But, good point.
  20. So to sum up, to win games the Bears must beat the schedulers, mindless ownership, bad GM personnel decisions, horrible coaching, the refs, and the other team.
  21. Then I officially abandon this team.
  22. Bears are bad and Fields isn't playing, but at least we have a top 5 five pick coming, am I right? :banghead: Silver lining: this one’s not in TV in my market. I’m so stupid I would watch if it was on, so thankfully someone else gave me freedom to get something done today.
  23. LOL just another Bears season, slow burn into oblivion.
