    It happened in Arizona. I think his license is fine in Arizona right? Dunno. I must say, that "driving while slightly impaired" charge is a new one on me. So .08 is the legal limit for DUI, but at the officer's discretion you can still be charged for "slight impairment" in AZ? Maybe I'm just reading it wrong. Seems way wacko, like totally discretionary or something.

If we haven't gotten there already, we're fast approaching the point where addition by subtraction comes into play.

    Doubt this will ever happen. As far as I know the only publicly owned professional sports franchise is the Green Bay Packers. I just want a guy running the Cubs who knows what he is doing and can't stand losing. That's all. It seems to be the most conducive arrangement for winning in MLB from what I've seen. I don't see an IPO as helping put that situation into effect.

    hey tree, havent seen you in a while... would you really want to play the same game forever though? think the Commish's office might get upset. So that's why we got Bowen. Our offense was too perfect. Now Bowen can make the outs, the games will end and Seligula will be happy with us.     No doubt. I'm not falling for this scapegoat crap anymore. The problem on this ballclub is, and ever has been, crappy management and GM'ing. Blame Barrett? Alright, he's dense and was an idiot sometimes. Guess who's brainchild he was? Answer that question, and you will have named the real problem with the Cubs at the moment.

Keep the faith :shock: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...i have been hearing that all year...what a joke Plesac isn't a man who I would use as a basis for a large wager, that's for sure.

    I wish I can get excited about football. I love it, but I don't have the same passion I do with baseball and the Cubs. Football & baseball are neck & neck for me. I openly use the Bears to soften the blow of poor Cub seasons, and vice versa when the Cubs happen to look good.

    i know the talk has died down as of late...but...dammit...i am still completely all for a fire sale 100+ mil for a below .500 return on investment. There's a firesale coming. Maybe not with Hendry, but new ownership won't tolerate those numbers. It's death; might even shave a few million off the price of the franchise.
