It's amazing how horrible ESPN has become. I feel like I can't trust anything they say anymore, not even their 'straight facts' reporting like the bottom-line, which I have caught in error several times. One of the problems is that the network is overrun with former sports players. The truth is, just because you played the game doesn't make you a good sports journalist. When you're trusting guys like Morgan for journalistic integrity, you're barking up the wrong tree. They don't even know what it means. But it goes beyond that. Just last week, during the Kendall trade, ESPN insisted that the Cubs had traded Sean Marshall for Kendall -- a ridiculous trade. I believe their own ticker had the correct trade. This is unforgivable inaccuracy. ESPN has become the worst sports network in the world, bar none, for getting the facts right. I don't know what else to say, the network is just complete junk now.
