A lot of people in this thread are worried about injuries to key players that would effect their regular season... but ... would it be wrong to hope that Macias and Neifi get injured? http://www.northsidebaseball.com/PremiumForum/images/smiles/eusa_whistle.gif
If it were that easy to beat the Bears, they wouldn't be 8-3. Hey, it's not the Bears' fault other QBs and offensive coordinators are stupid. Favre, however, I think will find that hole on Sunday.
This game worries me for the simple fact that Tillman continues to get burned every week, and all Favre has to do is find Peanut's receiver on numerous occasions, and we're toast. :(
(1) Are going for 20,000 posts today, or are you just making up for lost time? (2) I don't see Pierre coming here; not for what the Marlins supposedly want.
Maybe it's the Chicago sports' pessimist in me, but I don't see that as the end result here unless they kick it up a notch on the offensive side of the football.
Yes.. because the offense is HORRID. They have scored 2 TDs in the last 2 games.. and both were set up inside the opp. 10 yd. line because of a takeaway from the D. Aside from that ... they have 4 FGs in 2 weeks for their "offensive output." THAT is sickening .. and eventually - especially in the playoffs .. that won't get it done.
I still maintain the Bears are the worst 1st-place team in the NFL. Grossman moves up the depth chart next week to #2. If Orton doesn't have a good 1st half against GB, I could see a change coming.
