  1. Rondo is by far the best ball handler in the league. He's so smooth.
  2. How long does it take to dismantle the Heat if they are mediocre? I say maybe 1 season. Tops.
  3. A lot of Woodhead going on here. Colston out with bye for me. Pick 1: 0.5 PPR league Woodhead vs. Pit or Amendola vs. SF I keep going back and forth.
  4. Brown, Blount, Fitzgerald.
  5. Hey, I also have Rodgers, McCoy and Bradshaw. Nice. I think I'd take a risk with Moss. Also, I might play Knox over Maclin as well. Vick likes DJax. I'd probably go with Forte because he can always catch the ball. I could easily see another poor rushing effort though from him. I don't feel strongly about the QB's, as I don't think any of them is a lock. Troy Smith has been named the starter, I believe. I'd still roll with Cutler.
  6. Woodhead. Pittsburgh has a good rush defense, but Woodhead should be good for a lot of short passes. Shiancoe and Olsen are inconsistent. Wow, I also have all 3 on my team.
  7. Wow. Why can't I get offers like that?
  8. Actually, I bet they do exactly that...run 20-25 times for 40-50 yards. It was enough to keep the help keep the pass rush off Cutler to some extent last week. Did that keep the pass rush off of him, or is it just that the Bills defense isn't very good? If you're running for 2 yards per carry no one is respecting the play action or altering their game plan. Their best chance to win is to air it out. I guess we'll find out. Because I still think they're going to try to run it this week. If for no other reason, than to give Jay a play or two in a series where he doesn't have to worry about his head being separated from his body. Yeah that's true. I'm not saying they should never run it, just that this media desire to strive for balance is nonsense. Couldn't agree more. I read the Chicago news stories, and the writers love to spew utter nonsense, particularly about the Bears. The running thing is a prime example. They get all this praise for barely gaining 100 yards rushing on a bad run defense. Take away Cutler, and the RB's rushed for 60 yards. And this supposedly opened up the game for Cutler's whopping 188 yard passing day against a bad pass defense, clearing the way for a 3 point win against an 0-7 team. I don't know what Steve Rosenbloom ever did in football, but he's totally full of it. Let's see how this works against the Vikes. Because I can see a 2 yards per carry happening from Forte and Taylor.
  9. How often is a 3-5 team favored on the road vs a 5-3 team? I do agree with it though.
  10. Wade Phillips is almost as dumb as Lovie Smith.
  11. This is basically my feeling as well. It has a pretty good chance to be a disaster. But it's also probably one of the only ways they give themselves a shot to do something. Obviously it's a move of desperation, but I think we're at that point, so why not? I'm not going to claim the Bears receivers are OK, but I want no part of Moss. It would be one thing to take a guy with a bad attitude, which he clearly has. In order to take a guy like that, you can't have a somewhat dysfunctional offense with problems. He has to buy into the system, which he probably won't. And one thing nobody ever seems to mention. He's just not that good anymore. His numbers are very pedestrian, even playing on good offenses. Roddy White and Calvin Johnson see double teams all day long also. And they don't have Brady throwing to them in Belichick's offense. He's not turning any team around.
  12. Heh, I have the same QB situation. I'm leaning toward Ben, but Indy has looked bad on the road at times and is coming off a short week, so I'm not sure. I say Vick. Vick has a big upside. Indy's pass rush isn't as fierce because he can run around Freeney and Mathis. However, I agree that Roethlisberger is a safer choice. It kind of depends how confident you feel. I'd lean Williams and Woodhead. If PPR, then even more clear.
  13. Big ouch. I have a nice trio of RB's, but my WR's are not nearly as strong. My QB plays for a crappy team. His name is Aaron Rodgers. I also lost Jermichael this year and have to play Greg Olsen. That was a blow to both my TE spot and my QB spot.
  14. Looks like you have a nice team. Rice and Bradshaw. But it's close with LT and Bradshaw, with that TD vulture Jacobs on the team. White and Marshall are must starts. Maclin is a clear choice IMO. Even with a mediocre QB, you team looks solid.
  15. Few thoughts on the game: - Rose and Noah are awesome. Both are going to be all stars. Rose cleans up his turnovers a bit, and he is a superstar. - Nice work from Johnson and Asik - Deng needs to pick it up - Don't miss BG at all. One trick pony. Cannot handle the ball or create his own shot to save his life.
  16. Big bye week issues for me this week. Forced to start: Jordan Shipley vs Miami or Blair White vs Houston
  17. Translation: I'm the man and I'm going to take the team over. It's early, but they have no idea how to play together. If they continue to play badly, though, its going to get ugly with the egos and finger pointing. It's going to be great if that happens.
  18. Oh man. That was great. Witnessing one of Miami's 9 losses this year.
  19. I'll say Henne. Indy's pass rush can be really fierce. I think the Texans are going to try and run it like they did last time. Schaub did not have a good fantasy game against them, Arian Foster did. And Indy will be very motivated.
  20. As bad as Miami is playing, the Celtics are missing a lot of easy shots.
  21. Me neither, but nothing is better than watching a $60 million train wreck! Not saying its going to happen this year, but I sure hope it does!
  22. When do all the people calling 72 wins and multiple championships start jumping off the bandwagon?
  23. McFadden and Britt were both sitting on the bench in my league. hehe. Let's see if they can do it again. Both solid players, especially McFadden. But neither is doing it again. Britt might get 7 points next game.
  24. Had a little lead going in with Bradshaw and Nicks vs Romo. Ended in a massacre. My team is looking rock solid. If only the fat, crybaby TD vulture would get out of the picture it would even be better. Throw his helmet into the stands again and get suspended. Giants looking like the class of the NFC at this point.
  25. Not trying to beat a dead horse of anything, but what Lovie is saying is that he bases his challenges on what he sees from the sideline? So he watches the play from the sideline and decides if the officials who see the play from the field are wrong or not? Or bases it on whether it was an important play or not? What in idiot. OK, I'm done now.
