  1. For real, if you pause that video and go frame by frame you see just how badly Zobrist tagged there and almost blew the play.
  2. "about" 31 pitches seems oddly specific almost like you counted exactly to 31 horsefeathering pitches, Carrie.
  3. I like how the starts off by bashing Kingery for not making a better play at shortstop but then glosses over the 3 straight hits he gave up that happened next and then discounts McCutcheon's homer off of him as some kind of pop-up that fluked its way over the fence or something.
  4. How anyone can actually sit here and say Michael Jordan was better at basketball than Lebron James blows my mind. Lebron is the best and most complete athlete to play any sport I've ever had the pleasure to watch.
  5. What would happen if Rizzo caught the ball aimed for his ribs with his bare hand and then threw it halfway to the Monongahela? What would Nick Kingham do then, huh?
  6. Carl was worth 4.9 WAR post-Theo. Heyward has been worth *gulp* 2.3 WAR. PLOT TWIST: The Red Sox only got 0.2 WAR from Carl, the rest went to the Dodgers. Basically they both suck. World Series peptalk. World Series peptalk World Series peptalk WORLD SERIES PEPTALK world series peptalk...
  7. I think its funny that anyone would think so strongly that a player isn't "part of the core" simply because there are 3 or 4 players better than him on the team.
  8. Look out, ladies
  9. wasnt Andruw Jones hitting homeruns in the World Series at age 19 or something? I assume his AA numbers mustve been OK
  10. I get drunk like once a year. I'm 36, so I'm old now... But I don't miss getting excited about getting drunk.
  11. Remember when you took him off your sig? THAT was insane.
  12. Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, Homecoming, Ragnarok, Black Panther, Infinity War
  13. He will play in the season opener next year in Tokyo and that will be his last MLB game, I imagine.
  14. Look, its a silly argument because they are both good to extremely good players and whoever is the lesser of the 2 is still giving you a great talent. I take Javy only cause with him we won a WS. Who knows if we would have without him? I dont want to take that chance. I am Team Javy for horsefeathering life.
  15. Addison Russell is the weak spot of our 5 man infield. Let's think about that.
  16. Well I have friends there that I visit once a year and I think it would be nice
  17. Those baby blue+maroon Phillies uniforms are horsefeathering hot
  18. Portland should have a team. I don't care where else they put one, as long as its not Vegas anytime while KB and Harper are close to FA
  19. Another one. I overlooked them cause for some reason I thought Giolito never played with the others but looks like he got in a handful of games in 2016.
  20. So I was bored tonight because horsefeathering weather so I was thinking about baseball a lot and how much my life has changed now that Theo decided to become a part of it. Naturally, Javy had a lot to do with it, which lead to the other guys like KB and Schwarber, etc. and how impressive it was that an organization was able to have a MLB roster with 5 guys from consecutive drafts (Javy 11-Happ '15). Are there many other notable groups out there? I was impressed by the Royals' string of bros: Billy Butler '04 Alex Gordon '05 Luke Hochevar '06 Mike Moustakas '07 Eric Hosmer '08 Aaron Crow '09 Not only did they all play together in 2012, but over their time there 5/6 made the All Star team. Pretty good. Anyway, horsefeathers this weather and making me have to "watch" basketball.
  21. It feels like in between 2014 and 2015 Willson magically figured the horsefeathers out of how to be a very good baseball player. I know there was a lot of hard work and scouting and study and yada horsefeathering yada... but to me, after years following the #CoreFour & Schwarbs and all that horsefeathers it felt like he showed up pretty much the horsefeathers out of nowhere. I wonder where we would have been at catcher these past couple years (and currently) if he hadn't panned out?
