That's the third ball Rizzo hit to the warning track but only has a double to show for it.

That was a low pitch inning for Jake but I can't see Maddon using him in the 9th. Great outing from Jake though.

The bullpen is well rested I would have taken Jake out after 7 innings but Maddon has him pitching the 8th.

Wow what a terrible call. That might have been the shortest replay review ever.

Jake's control has been a little erratic at times today but the results have been fantastic so far through 6 innings.

This was a very fascinating read. I get why Prior doesn't blame Dusty because he is trying to break into coaching business so it makes sense for him not to throw Dusty under the bus. But we all know better and that most of the blame falls squarely on Dusty's shoulders. Reading about his personality and the way he was handling things though is what I really found fascinating. I never really knew much about him personality wise certainly not to the extent we got to know Woody and so I am glad that he finally shared that story with all of us. -
