Bright side is that we haven't given up any runs so far. Bad part is people keep making bad decisions.

Poor defense by Szczur and Rizzo but we got bailed out by a bad call and an outstanding play by Russell!

Makes sense, as 7 of their last 9 series are against the NL Central Which is good for us since the central just got significantly weaker today.

If he can reliably get a couple of right handed batters out in the mid to late innings than this trade will be a steal. If not than Justin Grimm will just take his spot back. He didn't cost anything that we will miss so I don't mind them experimenting with a side arm pitcher.

I imagine that the Giants are done with any majore types of deals after this. They didn't have much to offer before this deal and even less now.

I don't think we'll do anything earth shattering at this point. I think we were in on the HIll/Reddick sweepstakes and missed out. Unless we get a Tampa pitcher or something small then yeah it seems like we are done.

I figure it'd take Happ as the lead piece. My guess is Soler has lost quite a bit of value over the last season. But I'd move either for Odorizzi. That's probably closer to what they're asking for Moore. Weren't they asking for Baez for Odorizzi in the offseason? I have to imagine the price has only gone up. Soler for Matt Moore seems fair enough to me. If they want a litle more that's fine as well. If they want a lot more then I'm an not so sure.
