Do we need another outfielder for next season if we want to seriously compete? If so is there any good fa outfielders?

Yeah I thought this as well. Maybe package some of them with whoever else for Hamels then sign Lester in the offseason.

I previously wanted 2 as well but with Turner I am okay with them only adding 1 as long as that guy is a top of the rotation guy.

7 pitchers. Wouldn't call it deep though. Ideally, Arrieta and only 2 of those others start the season in the rotation, unless one turns awesome in the next 2 months Add Lester to that and were in pretty good shape then!

Guessing Theo spent the entire time trying to get Christian Bethancourt but ended up having to settle for Victor Caratini as the Braves wouldn't trade him for those guys.

Good deal for the Indians I think. There wasn't going to be a huge market for a pitcher with an era of 5.51 who is about to be a free agent.

I think our defense will be around the league average so I chose significantly improved because even an average defense is a vast improvement over last year.

I watched the Iowa Cubs play Round Rock on Saturday. Vitters and Manny looked terrible. Brett Jackson actually had a good day I was surprised to see that his numbers were so bad.

I went to screen shot this ridiculous tweet I saw about Barney but it had been deleted by the time I hopped on my computer. But some guy was so pissed that Barney got DFA because "He plays the game the right way." The guy later went on to say that Castro should have been the one designed for assignment instead. Some people on twitter are just really special it seems. :banghead:
