ugh ok fine whatever mock me, i still think its dumb to throw someone out there on short notice who isn't very good to begin with. What do you mean on short notice? He's on 7 days rest. Theo and Jed must have seen something in his mechanical changes and strong Cubs minor league numbers to give him a chance. I am curious as to what they saw in him because what I saw was pure garbage.

I think Maddon is just saying that. There is no way that Hoystein isn't working hard trying to improve the team anyway they can. Another move might not end happening but it's not quiet up there that's for sure.

Too much. Replace Happ with someone like Zagunis and it's probably fair.

Well he's only got a no trade clause to a couple of teams. If he gets traded to the Mets or the Cubs he won't have any leverage in either of those situations and will be forced to play out the remainder of his contract.

I thought about it but I don't think I would do it. Contreras and Lucroy would make a good 1 2 punch though. I just want Lucroy so we can kick Montero to the curb.
