  1. Tangotiger, What's your personal background? Did you grow up cheering for any teams? Why did you decide to turn to these facets of baseball you have been addressing in your work?

  3. I'll give this a day or two before making a decision. If there's a good turnout, we can move ahead with the mock as I originally planned it. If not, I'll go with texascub's idea and do some sort of voting/poll thingy.
  4. .... as compared to our CUBS..... who have lost 6 in a row; 6 out 7; 11 out fo 14; and 21 out of 25. http://sneakykitchen.com/fullerbrush/images/household_broom.jpg The Cubs have been swept in 5 series this year: @Arizona (2 games), @SD (4 games), SD (3 games), @FLA (3 games), and ATL (3 games). Yeesh.
  5. http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/2029/padlock8xr.gif imo
  6. Not a bad idea. I think we could do some form of that with some teams if we don't get enough people doing it or if a lot of people have 2-4 teams...or something along those lines.
  7. Anyone interested in doing a mock draft? I'd happily run it. I also get to take the Cubs if we do it. :D The order for the first & sandwich: First Round 1. Royals 2. Rockies 3. Devil Rays 4. Pirates 5. Mariners 6. Tigers 7. Dodgers 8. Reds 9. Orioles 10. Giants 11. Diamondbacks 12. Rangers 13. Cubs 14. Blue Jays 15. Nationals 16. Brewers 17. Padres 18. 8. You MAKE Francouer make the throw. He hasn't earn the respect to hold runners. You bet on him making a bad throw more times then not, till he proves he's a threat from RF. Until then, the decision to send Barrett, was an alright move to me. 13 assists in 67 games last season. I think that should have established how good his arm is.
  9. That about sums it up.
  10. Remember when Hendry wanted to get guys who could catch the ball in the offseason? Me neither.
  11. The back end of the bullpen has been terrific. The front end? ...not as much so.
  12. Was a good effort and everything, but unfortunately Jerry is a midget.
  13. Remember the value of hustling, kids.
  14. Popup to third, Rammy took his eye off the ball a bit, and the ball bounced off his head. Langerhans was hustling the whole way and made it into second with little trouble.
