Italian beef. There's only one place outside of Chicago that I've ever been to that did it right (in Cleveland, weirdly enough). It's rare to find good Italian beef outside of the Chicago area.

I'm impressed they have walked more than 5 times now 6 games this year. Did they ever do that in 6 games all season when Dusty was at the helm, not counting IBBs?

Frankly, the only part of the bullpen that's been overworked recently are Carlos Marmol and Kerry Wood. They might as well let the bullpen go the rest of the way if the Cubs are serious about keeping Marquis in the rotation. It's still April and there's no need to over-extend Marquis yet.

Maybe Lou's giving him the same part of the game off as he did with Ramirez a game or two ago?

I'll put it this way. If we leave Marquis out for 120 pitches, I don't think many people will complain in the same way we did when Zambrano went over 100 in his most recent start.

he shouldn't even be given a chance to keep it up god i hate his white ass so badly if i see him start another game for this team i am going to start bleeding out of my eye sockets We don't have any other options at this point. If only we had a young SS who tore the crud out of AAA last seaon and had a .385 OBP in the bigs this season going into today. Hey, at least he's playing today.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when the person singing the 7th inning stretch says "let's get some runs" when the Cubs are ahead in the game. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people tell me their pet peeves.

If I were intoxicated and saw Dora the Explorer throw out the first pitch at Wrigley, I might very well have freaked out.

Ball deflected off of Lee's glove. Cedeno was on the spot, picked up the ball, and underhanded it a bit high to Marquis. Marquis made a big stretch and stepped on 1B before the runner made it.

Fukuedome gets a lot of full counts, but there are days when he doesn't look pretty in getting there.
