  1. I have a feeling this board's going to explode regardless of what happens in Soriano's AB.
  2. Of course he did. He's one of the worst umpires in the game and seems to have it out for us. How did Bucknor cost us? He's at 3B. The only call he made against the Cubs' was Colvin's check swing strike.
  3. Seems Cordero's not getting that corner, either. GO LEE!
  4. The first two were called strikes, then I think his 6th or 7th one was. The ump was inconsistent with that corner. That said, he needs to learn how to actually locate it in other spots when he's not getting that call.
  5. YOU ARE NOT GETTING THAT CORNER. STOP IT.
  6. Looked like he might have been injured. And Votto Ks again. :-))
  7. He kept pounding the same freaking spot with his fb over and over again. He did not move it around and his offspeed stuff was missing badly. He's young and he'll learn, but whoever called that sequence is an idiot.
  8. Weird sequence. That outside fastball's been thrown to the same spot about 6 or 7 times, but was called a strike 3 of those times.
  9. ATTN: Caridad The ump gave you that corner twice, but hasn't given it to you since. Take the hint.
  10. If Rothschild fixed Silva he should be nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize why the peace prize? You're right. He'd deserve it in Physics.
  11. Owings really takes his time between pitches.
  12. He throws plenty hard without them. Plus, it must be hella hard to steal on him. A righty out of the pen in this age who can't break 90? It's intentional; he's primarily a sinker/change pitcher. When he came over from the Yankees, he reportedly could throw in the low 90s without much trouble, but he'd lose a lot of movement.
  13. There's drop and drive...then there's Berg, who looks like he's trying to stop himself from tripping.
  14. What the hell is with the Reds pitchers tonight?
  15. Redszone's Game Thread reads quite a bit like Cubs game threads back in the Dusty Baker Era.
  16. I see the Reds have reached Cubs 2006 status with Dusty Baker.
