    Getting heavy rain about two miles west of Wrigley.

    I didn't mind that take on strike 3. It was borderline and worth taking.

    Colvin/Campana was one of the worst in recent memory for the Cubs (in the minors). Both were stretchered off the field and taken to the hospital. Say what you will about Colvin, but he had some of the worst luck when it came to freak injuries.

    Thoughts from after attending the game: 1) Baez makes LOUD contact. Even his outs were solidly hit. 2) Does anyone know why the Cubs kept kicking Rizzo's rear after the walkoff? 3) Alcantara covers a ton of ground in CF. Not sure how his instincts are, but he has the speed to hack it out in CF.

    Baez's strike one swing was pretty damn impressive, too. A slightly better read on the ball and he has his first 400+ ft home run in the majors.
