    I know the Brewers are playing excellent baseball, but man it would be nice if just one team they played decided they didn't need to step on their collective dicks all at once.

    PCA not even trying to steal there was absolutely dumb. Every time he is on first with nobody on second he should make an attempt. He has exceptional speed. This team seems to be doing the exact wrong thing quite a lot lately.

    The long and short of it is Seiya needs a couple days off. Tucker should be on the IL until he can actually slug again. This team is scuffling tight now and when your 2 and 3 hitters are slumping hard; everything else looks worse.

    Taking the bunt play off after ball 1 and then again after ball 2 is just plain dumb.

    Doesnt mean you take the bunt off. All three strikes were fouled off on a swing or on a swing.

    Agreed. He has been getting the Suzuki zone a bit too. You can see he is being a bit more patient but that is clearly still very impatient.

    That was horrific and if Counsell took the bunt off he needs to get his ass chewed. That was such an easy bunt them over with the possibility of a better result situation .

    Happ makes nice sliding catches and has an accurate arm but his defense in LF has always been meh otherwise to me.

    Swanson should have the take sign until he gets to two strikes with RISP.

    Feels almost as if Jed wants a Caissie/Alcantara platoon next year on cheap deals. This was the moment to trade Alcantara.

    Definitely would have to be a record for length of identical last name in a trade for each other while both being over 6’5”.

    At this point I would almost prefer Dansby just not swing with runners in scoring position and less than 2 outs. He is so impressively awful this year in that situation. Then of course Nico does the one thing he should never do, hit it in the air. This team is on the struggle bus.

    Rich Hill’s face and demeanor are that of a man in hospitality middle management who is coming out of the office to listen to a Karen complain about how the housekeeper wasn’t quite friendly enough when Karen said “bonus dias” in the hallway on her last stay at the hotel. He is resigned to his fate and only does it to pay for his daughter’s braces.

    Just a note, Birdsell was drafted out of Texas Tech. He did start at A&M but transferred to San Jacinto before finishing at Tech.
