Go sit in the corner. No more Nicky Lopez on this team. Not today, not tomorrow, not ever. The very thought of him on this roster again makes me long for Jose Macias. But I am so worried you might be right.

I would think that Mo or Alcantara would be the guy since they are both on the 40 man.

I really hope that Amaya is just in pain and it isn’t a season or career ending injury. He has worked so hard to get to this level. But also, I hope his injury is the spark that wakes this team up and they go apeshit from here on out.

Cade Horton is a pretty good pitcher it seems. If he can get a good splitter or changeup as an out pitch against lefties, he will be a true ace.

Doesn't make sense pitching to Kelly with PCA on deck and a lefty on the mound here. Doubt Kelly sees a hittable pitch.

No they need to reinvest, but I have been saying that since 2019 when I didn’t renew my season tix. It was clear that the Cubs and Wrigleyville are there only to make money and they don’t want to actually reinvest back into the team.
