If he is throwing it only 5 mph off of his 4 seamer then he isn’t throwing it like a circle change. He needs less forefinger on the ball to create greater velocity separation.

Cabrera is bad. Assad or Peterson are far better options for this team. CC needs to have a quick hook today or else this game will be over early especially with the way the offense has shown up as of late.

Pretty sure I’ve seen enough of Cabrera as a starter this year. For someone who has such a phenomenal arm, he is a terrible pitcher.

Nobody knows yet but he was a big bonus baby from last year along with Juan Tomas. Could be fantastic. -
Holmes is one that needs to be offered something good. He will undoubtedly turn down his player option as it is such a low number for a guy of his caliber. Gausman could be re-signed if the numbers make sense. Getting a healthy Steele and Brown transforms the staff at the top. Who know if Horton will be back in any real form next year. He last one week further into this season than Steele did last season so his recovery timeframe is a question mark. Assad is clearly an option. Maybe they try and turn Zeferjahn into a starter. His control would have to improve dramatically though.
