A don’t disagree that having a bit of diversification in your lineup is a good thing. He offers a very rich man’s Brett Bateman profile but with more slug and a bit more speed possibly? -

Collectively shitting the bed. If they don’t pull their heads out they will be in actual trouble. Cabrera doesn’t belong in the rotation or really even on the staff. I doubt he has options though .

Who gives a rats ass? He has been a large net negative for the team this year when he has pitched. Are you in a playoff race or not? That is the real question.
